Maybe the industry voters actually care about quality?

    WINNER: SONG OF SUMMER
    * BLACKPINK, “How You Like That”

Apparently this was announced on Twitter like 2.5-3 hours ago. Did they seriously forget to mention it on the show?

Anyway, we saw a total of THIRTEEN awards being given out on the main show (fourteen if you include that first responders category where everybody won). We probably haven’t seen that number since like 2006.

Will the Grammys also give out a ton of awards?? Something tells me they’ll have an easier time than the VMAs booking their usual billion performances…

I just hope the Grammys are not as terrible as they were this year (production-wise)

I actually really liked the format of the show. We actually got to see the awards.

I am happy for Abel, but sad for Ari at the same time, she lost bad at the Grammys, and now she lost VOTY despite being the most voted video

BL is competitive for BMV at the Grammys, deal with that

I liked it, the grammys should try something similar, more awards, less performances.

the performances were really messy, Doja Cat was the best IMO

11 years into her career and Gaga still can’t top her debut performance at the VMAs. That Paparazzi performance will always remain her best.

Paparazzi is ICONIC. That would be hard for any artist to top themselves with.

Even though these awards lost their relevancy I still need Rihanna to sweep next year. The fact that she won two VOTY, a Vanguard, another award for her worst collab and nothing else doesn’t sit right with me

    FYC :

    Best Actress - Viola Davis
Best Actor - Delroy Lindo, Chadwick Boseman
Best Supp Actress - Glenn Close
Best Supp Actor - Yahya Abdul-Mateen II

. But at the same time it’s an eleven year career that has been successful and has allowed her to perform on the vma awards and Grammys multiple times. I call that a win

I mean she doesn’t needs to top that, and no one is requesting her to do it, she was at her prime 11 years ago.
