I don’t fucking care the IFs or not or who said what. What’s important right now is that Ms Grande is coming for her 10th top 10 in five years. How much do you guys think Sweetener will do first week? I think, since she’s done so well in streaming (plus the fact that all her albums have sold at least 129k pure), she’ll end up with 200-210k SPS. She did 50k in streams alone for Dangerous Woman, and she didn’t do much TEA since the singles didn’t perform as well as the My Everything singles. So, with NTLTC (and possibly GIAW) being bigger than any of the DW singles, and her rise on streams, I think she’ll do around 140k pure and 60k in streams (around 90M streams). For reference: Dangerous Woman had 69M streams + TEA first week

I’m specially excited for R.E.M., Get Well Soon, and Borderline. I also want to hear what “Pete” sounds like, since it was probably the last track she recorded/wrote.July 19, 2018 at 4:41 pm #1202590654
Blazed features Pharell and Borderline features Missy Elliot, if I’m not mistaken. Those are the only features, aside from Nicki.
Goodnight N Go is an Imogen Heap cover/remix. Raindrops interpolates “An Angel Cried” by Frankie Vallie & The Four Seasons. The Light Is Coming has a sample of a CNN broadcast (“Sen. Arlen Specter Gets Mobbed to Kill Health Care in Lebanon, PA”). I think she said Get Well Soon sampled something, but I don’t remember.July 20, 2018 at 6:04 am #1202590843
God is a Woman has been discounted on US iTunes.July 20, 2018 at 7:26 am #1202590853
God Is A Woman has debuted at #49 on Pop radio, despite not being sent to radios.July 20, 2018 at 8:45 am #1202590887
Radio stations seem to be on board. She discounted it so sales won’t drop for next week. Her streams have been pretty great too, so the song will probably stay in the top 20 for some weeks.July 20, 2018 at 9:38 am #1202590923
God Is A Woman has debuted at #4 on the UK charts.July 22, 2018 at 10:28 am #1202591734
According to the final predictions, GIAW will be debuting at #9. It will be SUCH A BIG ACHIEVEMENT FOR ARI. So proud of her.July 22, 2018 at 11:06 am #1202591741
Two top 10 debuts for the same era is such a great achievement. I’m still petty that Into You didn’t reach the top 10 but at least GIAW did lol.July 22, 2018 at 1:07 pm #1202591762

The guy, Simon, who does the Final Predictions replied to someone that this isn’t “final”, per say, due to the changes in the Mediabase radio panel but no knowledge of any change in the Billboard panel. And that he evaluated Psycho and God’s Plan’s radio numbers according to the Mediabase changes where they both lost 10M+ audience(around 10-12 points) while there hasn’t been a similar change in the Billboard radio panel. I’m now doubting if GIAW will debut in the Top 10 or not. Keeping my fingers crossed, anyway.July 22, 2018 at 1:56 pm #1202591768
I hope it does. It still is debuting in the top 15 which is great.
It reached a new peak in radio today (#45 on Pop) which has me excited since it’s doing relatively well without being sent. With Billboard focusing a bit more on radio and sales, I think it will do well for No Tears and GIAW, specially No Tears. I think that song will stay in the top 10 or top 15 until the album comes out. It already has 10 weeks in the top 10.July 22, 2018 at 2:44 pm #1202591772

I expect NTLTC to go out of Top 10 the next week. It’s kind of free falling on iTunes(despite having a discount) and is losing HUGE audiences on radio too. Top 15 is still very much likely tho. GIAW is also very surprisingly not doing good on iTunes despite being discounted. It still has maintained on Spotify, which is a really good thing but it’s heavily losing streams on Apple Music and the YouTube views also don’t seem to be increasing. So, Billboard focusing on sales and radio might not be such a good thing for Ari after all. Again, so that people don’t attack me in the future. according to the CURRENT scenario, I think NTLTC would most likely be in the Top 15 next week, and GIAW might be somewhere around Top 30/40.
Right now, I’m just hoping GIAW debuts in the Top 10. Ari deserves it.
