There are songs in which the original is much better than the remake, but sometimes the remake can breathe new life into the original version. There are times where both or all versions are equally good.
I like both versions of Piece of My Heart – Janice Joplin’s version is more popular, but the version by Erma Franklin (Aretha’s sister) is also very good.
Are there songs that you like the original better or the remake better or all versions equally the same?

To me, not only is her copy NOTHING like his, but the song is finally done the way that it should’ve been done from the very beginning.

God bless you and LeAnn always!!!

Same Ol’ Mistakes – RihannaMay 3, 2020 at 7:36 pm #1203461283Same Ol’ Mistakes – Rihanna
Rihanna didn’t change a single thing from the original song. There is no way her version can be considered better than the original.

Which version of I Can’t Make You Love Me?
I have heard versions of I Can’t Make You Love Me by Bonnie Raitt, Prince and George Michael and I like Bonnie Raitt’s version the best and it is amazing in concert.

Turn The Beat Around – I like both both versions by Vickie Sue Robinson and Gloria Estefan. They actually kind of sound alike a little bit.

I freaking love her versionMay 4, 2020 at 8:09 am #12034620871. I Will Always Love You: Dolly’s version & Whitney’s version are so different and both great individually.
2. I’ll Be There: I think Mariah’s version is far superior.
3. Girls Just Wanna Have Fun: Cyndi by far!I’ll think of more later.

CCR’s version is great, but, come on!
Both versions of Always Something There to Remind Me are great.
