Doesn’t matters how high the song charted on billboard, you guys keep forgetting that Grammys isn’t about popularity, Abba can win and their song was never in the charts, this isn’t that type of awards, that’s why is so hard to predict Duo/Group this year, for those saying Doja cause she had a lot of nominations? Doesn’t mean anything, I’ve seen Mariah Carey and many other artists in the past with 10 nominations going home with nothing

the last two years this website swore that they would go with more critically acclaimed songs in best pop duo than the hits, but they went with the hits both times. that’s why i think it’s between unholy and i like you.

Exactly. Balladele is a relic nobody in the Pop world enjoys listening to. With the contagious, fun and very current  music of both Doja and Lizzo, why would the young Pop voters choose a boring tired whiny ballad in 2022?

Not to mention ALL of Sam’s album are platinum or more with 65 Million RIAA units in the USA alone, Sam is most definitely known and with 7 top ten hits & recent #1, their actually one of the more consistent best new artists winners of the 2010’s…

They’ve always had an smash or two in each album cycle since their 2014 debut, love them or hate them, but I feel Sam will continue with their consistency.
