I would 100% prefer to see Lizzo win, but let’s not delude ourselves into thinking Adele doesn’t still have a chokehold on the Academy and white women in this country.

If you offend Camila for being racist and not Doja, then you are just a troll that hates Camila, be serious cuz Doja had a horrible past also about it
Camila isn’t new to the Grammys, she has 2 Latin Grammys, Record & Song and all her 3 albums had received Grammy nominations, so isn’t surprise that she received 1 this year

Yep the only way I could see it going is by crowning vets like ABBA. They didn’t even give it to Tony Bennett and Gaga whom had an overly campaigned and baity project with general field nods.

she really deserves it and is the future of pop music.

its def about audience and how much noise a controversy, i don’t even know what diplo or louis ck did and im sure the academy doesn’t either. now for kanye the stuff he did wasn’t THAT bad until this year, so he’s probably not winning any more grammys. a lot of the conversation around kim circulates around what she said about dr luke, so i could see that affecting her

Duo is obvious, people are overthinking it.

Unholy making it in nominations despite all it had going against it (low on list, was low on radio at the time of voting, Sam seemingly Grammy poison since 2015) = WIN

Kim issue was very minor and carried by twitter mostly, same goes for Camila when they found screenshots of her social media when she was really young, most of these things only was out of proportion in twitter , honestly  gay people  love Kim and they don’t even know about Dr Luke issue, same goes for Camila, ask a regular person about it, they don’t have a clue, now Kanye, Azealia? Those are very problematic , the academy doesn’t engage in gossip, if it was serious, they wouldn’t even bother to nominate them

Sam finally beating the Grammy poison allegations, good for them!!

Unholy is still my top pick for Pop Duo, it seems like the stars are aligning for Sam’s case, recording academy went out in their way to make sure it got nominated and it smashing at the same time clearly helped it case…
