If you offend Camila for being racist and not Doja, then you are just a troll that hates Camila, be serious cuz Doja had a horrible past also about it Camila isn’t new to the Grammys, she has 2 Latin Grammys, Record & Song and all her 3 albums had received Grammy nominations, so isn’t surprise that she received 1 this year
Let’s not try to use Doja trolling in a couple of random old Tweets to justify dedicating a significant part of your Tumblr to racist rants. That Tumblr wasn’t a sign of ignorance or thinking it was “funny” to be racist. It was a sign of flat-out hate. But I don’t care either way about Camilla. Just leave Doja out of it. Camilla ain’t winning. Get over it. Also, no, “Dancing With A Stranger” is not better than “Unholy”. And it also wasn’t as big of a hit.
ReplyCopy URLits def about audience and how much noise a controversy, i don’t even know what diplo or louis ck did and im sure the academy doesn’t either. now for kanye the stuff he did wasn’t THAT bad until this year, so he’s probably not winning any more grammys. a lot of the conversation around kim circulates around what she said about dr luke, so i could see that affecting her
i don’t think kim did anything wrong because dr luke is nominated for a grammy for latto’s song and no one attacks latto.

Since Say So(2020) Dr Luke has not stopped being nominated for grammy.
The academy surrendered to Kiss Me More in a category that only singers get the award.
Only one of his works finally won a grammy even though he didn’t win the trophy. all the pop and rap voters love dr luke and i don’t think kim and others have to pay for iti don’t think kim did anything wrong because dr luke is nominated for a grammy for latto’s song and no one attacks latto. Dr Luke is not nominated for Best Melodic Rap Performance with Latto.
Also, Kim Petras frequently defends working with Dr Luke.
ReplyCopy URLThe Grammys are very US-centrist, we know, BUT as a person that does not live in the United States, I Like You is a non-factor, i’ve never heard of this song my entire life, i just know that it exists and they don’t tend to award songs that don’t get a lot of noise. I’m looking at the recipients right now and all of the winners are songs that crossed the bridge between countries, except for Tony/Amy, but there’s a narrative there. I’m not even gonna mention Bam Bam. Filler nominee, bleh. I gave my opinion on ABBA a few pages ago, but, as i said before, the Academy probably does not even remember that they haven’t awarded ABBA in all of their career, also, they could have been namechecked as they were the very first name on the list, but this is a possibility, not something that i’m completely sure of since they also got in ROTY and AOTY. Besides all of that, the last time that a song that wasn’t a hit won was in 2012, that’s 10 years ago and i’m not betting against a non-hit again after the fiasco last year. Personally, for me, the competition is between Unholy and My Universe. Unholy for obvious reasons but i see a lot of people underestimating My Universe and denying its success. Look, i live in the biggest country of South America, My Universe was big here, enough for me to be walking down the streets on my way to work and seeing a random ass store playing it aloud. If we consider international success, MU takes the lead as the biggest hit as it also a huge hit in Europe. I think that Unholy will take it, but i’m rooting for Coldplay and BTS because, asides for personally liking the song, they genuinely deserve this award, this does not mean that the other ones do not deserve it, but this may be BTS’ last chance at a Grammy win and they deserve one for being one of the most influential acts of the 21st century. Say what you wanna say about them or their fans, but being one of the most successful acts in America while singing in a language that’s spoken in a country that has over 50 million people (which is a population smaller than the state of California and Texas merged together) is a feat that no one will be able to top. I genuinely think that it would be the worst winner of all time at BPDGP in terms of music quality, the only one that i know of that could rival this title is Hey Soul Sister in 2011.
The song wasn’t that big in Europe. I live here and I’ve literally never heard this song. It mostly did well because of BTS fans and Coldplay fans only.

My top three in Pop Duo/Group are:
1)ABBA (pop icons/finally shut people up about them not having a Grammy)
2) Sam/Kim (song is still in heavy rotation despite going up against Christmas songs)
3) Post/Doja (same reason as Sam/Kim, although not as much)IMO, the only strike against Post/Doja is the latter won the last time & voters might not want back-to-back wins.
Camilla/Ed? Filler nom. Won’t get it. Elton/Dua, Elton/Britney, or Imagine Dragons/JID would’ve been a better nomination choice.
Coldplay/BTS? Not a filler nom, but also won’t win.
