This post was found to be inappropriate by the moderators and has been removed.It’s kinda funny seeing some of you guys complaining in advance about BTS stans reaction if they lose the award when in reality most of them couldn’t care less about the Grammys anymore or don’t even know they’re taking placing this weekend.

I don’t have a winner in this argument, but is that why BTS fans are spamming the Grammys social media accounts?
ReplyCopy URLBetter music according to the majority of the music listening public at that time, of which I was one. Abba only had one hit single, Dancing Queen, in 1977. Other hit songs that year were Hotel California by The Eagles, Love Theme From A Star is Born (Evergreen) by Barbara Streisand, Sir Duke by Stevie Wonder, Dreams by Fleedwood Mac, How Deep is Your Love by the Bee Gees and You Light Up My Life by Debby Boone. They were always really good…they just were in a time where there were so many incredible and insanely popular artists. By the end of the 70’s Michael Jackson entered the picture as a solo artists too, so in light of all the competition, as good as they were they just weren’t as good as their competition to the public or in the eyes of their peers either. It is what it is.
And where are you from darling, The United States? Lol, the world does not revolve around the US. In Europe ABBA is just as famous as all those other artists. And no, definitely Dancing Queen wasn’t they only hit… Jesus!
What about Gimme Gimme Gimme, Waterloo, Lay All Your Love on Me, Mamma Mia, Chiquitita, I Do I Do I Do, Voulez Vous, Money Money Money. THEY ARE FUCKING LEGENDS.
While many artists feel corny to play on a party, ABBA it’s pretty much alive here in Europe.
ReplyCopy URLBtw I wouldn’t feel bad if Unholy or My Universe take the award. Unholy is a vibe, trending in all social media. And I don’t think My Universe is bad, it’s actually nice and if it wins it would give those f*ckers stans what they want.
But c’mon don’t try to drag ABBA down with that kind of argument. They managed to be relevant after so many years, a legacy that is undeniable and achieved by a very few artists. And I’m very young, I like ABBA because all my family listen to it, all my friends, everybody knows it.

Even if ‘My Universe’ wins (which I hope it doesn’t), it still won’t be enough to the stans. My fingers are crossed for either Unholy, Don’t Shut Me Down, or I Like You (despite Doja Cat winning last year) getting it.

On the other hand, ABBA’s Voyage had a better first week than Sam Smith’s Gloria is predicted to have. In fact, ABBA “out-debuted” every album by this year’s Pop Duo/Group Performance nominees except for Post Malone’s.
Still, charts don’t matter when it comes to the Grammys.
