Michael Bublé has been winning Grammys for more than a decade, so no surprise there.

Adele lost, most people predicted pop album, Harry won, at this point anything could happen in remaining pop categories

From DAY 1 I said that Unholy was being underestimated & look what happened. It WON!!!! I feel so vindicated. I’m usually never right but I knew this song was going to be a winner for sure.

Unholy was the obvious winner since it got a nomination before becoming a hit and being in the bottom of the ballot. Stop predicting 120-years-old legends to win this category. It never happens.

    Sad for Diana.

Happy for Harry in Pop Album.

Not surprised about Pop Duo/Group, but I did say Sam/Kim or ABBA would be a nice backup for Post/Doja. I’m just glad it didn’t go to Camilla or BTS.

Congrats to Adele and Harry. I feel sorry for Diana Ross but at least she has her Lifetime Achievement Grammy Award. I knew it would be ABBA vs Unholy and Unholy won (even though I hoped for ABBA). The Grammys’ hates boy bands and even a feature with Coldplay didn’t help bts. I’m glad BAM BAM and My Universe lost.

2015: Pharrell wins BPSP over BPVA winner Sam Smith
2016: Ed Sheeran wins BPSP over BPVA winner Taylor Swift
    2017: Adele wins both
    2018: Ed Sheeran wins both
2019: Lady Gaga wins BPSP over BPVA winner Ariana Grande
2020: Lizzo wins BPSP over BPVA (and AOTY) winner Billie Eilish (even though bad guy won Record/Song)

    2022: Olivia Rodrigo wins both
2023: Adele wins BPSP over BPVA winner Harry Styles.

I literally had Harry 1st in BPSP and Adele 1st in BPVA lol.
Unholy winning wasn’t a surprise, I was rooting for My Universe or ABBA, and like i said, either one of the three was edging out the others for the win. I still don’t like Unholy but is a win for transgender and queer representation!

the only two true splits (where both winners were nominated in both BPSP and BPVA) were in these years:

    • 2014:
      • ‘Royals’ beats ‘When I Was Your Man’ in BPSP
        • Royals later won Song of the Year
      • ‘Unorthodox Jukebox’ wins BPVA over ‘Pure Heroine’
        • Unorthodox Jukebox was nominated for Album of the Year
    • 2021:
      • ‘Watermelon Sugar’ beats ‘Don’t Start Now’ in BPSP
        • Watermelon Sugar was not nominated in the GF, while multiple other nominees were, including Don’t Start Now
      • ‘Future Nostalgia’ beats ‘Fine Line’ in BPVA
        • Future Nostalgia was nominated in Album of the Year
    • 2023:
      • ‘Easy on Me’ beats ‘As It Was’ in BPSP
        • both are nominated for Record and Song of the Year
      • ‘Harry’s House’ beats ’30’ in BPVA
        • both are nominated for Album of the Year

Interesting stats, but Unorthodox Jukebox was never nominated for Album of the Year. Bruno had AOTY nominations for Doo-Wops & Hooligans and 24K Magic (won).

In 2014, he actually submitted and was nominated for SOTY/ROTY for “Locked Out of Heaven”, but lost Song to Lorde and Record to Daft Punk.
