Queen Riri is one of the most successful acts of all-time. As we wait for R9, lets talk where Grammys did her wrong.

    2008 – ROTY Umbrella

2008 – Best Dance Recording  Dont Stop The Music

2008 – Best RnB Duo Perfomance  Hate That I Love You

2009 – Best Pop Duo  If I Never See You Again

2009 – Best Dance Recording Disturbia

2009 – Best Longform MV Good Girl Gone Bad Live

2011 – ROTY/Best Rap Sung Duo/Best MV Love the way you lie

    2011 – AOTY Recovery(with Eminem)

2012 – AOTY, Best Pop Vocal Album Loud

2012 – Best Rap Sung Duo Whats My Name?

2013 – BPSP Where Have You Been ?

2013 – Best Rap Sung Duo  Talk That Talk

2014 – Best Pop Duo Stay

    2017 – ROTY/PopDuo Work

    2017 – AOTY – Views(with Drake

anti feels deserving of a grammy but the winners who beat it were all better

    Rihanna should’ve won:
    2008 R&B Duo/Group – “Hate That I Love You”
    2017 Pop Duo/Group – “Work”
    2017 R&B Song – “Kiss It Better”
    2017 Record Packaging – ANTI

ANTI is arguably a better album than Lemonade but that’s for another discussion.

    2017 – Pop Duo: Work

The only real snub (Pop Duo/Group was disastrous in 2017).

I definitely would’ve given her Record of the Year for “Umbrella”.
I would’ve given “Disturbia” Best Dance Recording over “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” but “Disturbia” was category fraud and “Just Dance” should’ve beat them both.
“Get Lucky” is great and a deserving winner, but I would’ve given Pop Duo/Group Performance to “Stay” that year.
“Work” would’ve been a more deserving winner of Pop Duo/Group Performance than “Stressed Out”, but “Closer” should’ve beat them both.
A correction for the list, “Kiss It Better” was nominated Best R&B Song, her R&B Performance nomination was for “Needed Me”. I definitely would’ve given her the win for “Kiss It Better”, and as great as “Cranes In the Sky” is I would’ve awarded “Needed Me” as well.

Out of that list, she should’ve won:

    2008 – ROTY Umbrella

2008 – Best RnB Duo Perfomance  Hate That I Love You

2009 – Best Dance Recording Disturbia

2011 – ROTY AND Best Rap Sung Duo Love the way you lie

2012 – AOTY AND Best Pop Vocal Album Loud

2017 – ROTY AND Pop Duo Work

    2017 – Recording Package ANTI

AOTY - An Evening With Silk Sonic
    ROTY - Levitating
SOTY - Leave The Door Open
    BPSP - We're Good
    BPD/GP - Levitating
Best Music Video - We're Good
Best Music Film - Studio 2054

Honey, Rihanna has NOT been snubbed.  She deservingly lost all those categories.

roty for umbrella, both awards for work, personally prefer anti over lemonade but alas

disturbia was my favorite song nominated in dance recording its year, but it should’ve competed in pop (where I still would give her the win). someone should make a thread about what would’ve happened if dance/electronic categories never allowed pop stars to compete

Rihanna deservingly has 9 Grammys but I disagree with most of them and think she should’ve won in other occasions.

I don’t know in what year she submitted We Found Love for ROTY & SOTY, but in 2013 she deserved to win ROTY. I would’ve loved to see Bad Girls taking Music Video instead

Rihanna’s sole Album win being for Unapologetic is ugly.

    1. 2008 – Rap/Sung Collaboration for Umbrella
    2. 2010 – Rap/Sung Collaboration for Run This Town
    3. 2012 – Rap/Sung Collaboration for All of the Lights
    4. 2013 – Record of the Year for We Found Love
    5. 2013 – Dance Recording for We Found Love
    6. 2015 – Rap/Sung Collaboration for The Monster
    7. 2017 – Pop Duo/Group for Work
    8. 2017 – Rap/Sung Performance for Famous
    9. 2017 – Recording Package for ANTi.
    10. 2018 – Rap/Sung Performance for LOYALTY.

    FYC:

Record of the Year: Hit Different by SZA ft. Pharrell Williams & co.
Song of the Year: Good Days by SZA ft. Jacob Collier

    Should have won:
    – at least one for ANTI, either Pop Duo or R&B Song
    – Pop Duo for Stay

    Should have been nominated:
    – AOTY for ANTI
    – Pop Album for Good Girl Gone Bad
