It’s been almost 2 years without a Rihanna album! September is usually the time we get a first single. Do you think she will release in November or drop sometime early next year? Discuss.
Here’s a list of collaborators so far:

Hey, where did you get all of that information and that cover art? I haven’t heard much of anything about Rihanna recently and I can’t wait for her to release new material.September 14, 2014 at 7:24 pm #402073

The cover art is fan made. I follow a lot of Rihanna fans on social media. Most of her producers/writers post info whenever they are in the studio with her.
There are rumors swirling that she will perform Halftime at the Superbowl. My guess is that she will drop the album sometime early next year to capitalize on that huge promo.September 14, 2014 at 7:45 pm #402074
that’s some pretty damn good cover art, even if it’s fan-made!September 16, 2014 at 9:58 pm #402075
Yeah that would’ve been a dope album cover.September 17, 2014 at 7:06 am #402076
Honey, I’m glad Rihanna finally stopped releasing albums every year. That shit was played out. An early 2015 release would be perfect for her. Maybe her album sales will increase since she’s given people a chance to miss her.September 17, 2014 at 10:00 am #402077
I’m so excited for Rihanna to return. It should be interesting to see how she releases this album. Usually we’ll have a first single by now. I’m thinking she’s gonna release 2Q 2015.September 17, 2014 at 9:40 pm #402078
I have a suspicion she will do a surprise release sometime around Feb.September 18, 2014 at 8:58 am #402079
I doubt she’ll do a surprise release. She’s no Beyonce.September 18, 2014 at 4:20 pm #402080
You’re right she’s better.September 18, 2014 at 5:50 pm #402081

Agreed. She barely does well on first week sales when she has a hit, I don’t see how she could release an album without a hit/lead single. Would Jay/the Carters even allow it?November 12, 2014 at 9:32 pm #402082
Rihanna has stayed quiet about the release of her 8th album … until now..
“I can’t give you any hints of when it will drop. It’s going to be great, that’s all I’m going to tell you and I’m excited about it,” said the singer at a meet-and-greet Wednesday with fans at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
The critic she is worried about is herself.
“I try to battle myself and outdo everything I’ve done and that’s been the hardest thing to do. You start overthinking things at times,” she confessed.
The 26-year-old typically has released albums in November in the past but wouldn’t comment on that. She just sad, “I can’t wait for everybody to hear (the music) little by little. … little by little. I can’t wait.”

The rumor mill behind Rihanna’s in-progress eight studio album keeps on turning this weekend thanks to music industry insider DJ Skee. On the weekend news update for hisDash Radio show, the DJ reported that Rihanna debuted 10 new songs for Def Jam executives and noted that her Unapologetic follow-up could be “closer than anyone realized.” EDM godhead and “We Found Love” producer Calvin Harris said this past week that the LP is due “really soon” and Skee’s legwork seems to confirm that assumption. Skee further speculates that the album could see release in the fourth quarter of 2014, but there’s obviously no concrete information available yet, beyond a song possibly titled “I’ve Been Searching for Something to Ignite Me When I’m Alone.”January 25, 2015 at 8:23 am #402085
