Providing no delays, it’s almost grammy time! So that being said, what are your biggest gambles this year? For me:
-Black Parade will go home with nothing. It will lose Record and Song to DSN, R&B Song to Slow Down and R&B Perf to All I Need.
-Phoebe is going 4/4
-Roddy Ricch is going 0/6. He’ll lose Record and Song to DSN, Rap Song to Savage and Melodic Rap to Lockdown
-Not sure how controversial this is because it hasn’t really been discussed but Sturgill Simpson will beat The Strokes in Rock Album-

— Swift going home empty-handed (AOTY, BPVA-FN, SoTY-Box, BPDGP-Rain on Me,
BSWFVM-No Time to Die).
— Vince Gill wins Country Solo.
— Michael Kiwanuka wins Rock Album.
— Chilombo as RU in AOTY.
— Nas loses Rap Album to D Smoke.February 18, 2021 at 5:17 pm #1204048991“Goat Head” is, to me, the most entertaining and simultaneously socially relevant song in the R&B Performance lineup. It might win.
The Grammys would want to do the outrageous and jerk off the BTS Army. Hence, “Dynamite” might win Best Pop Duo/Group performance.
As we all know, “cardigan” shits in heaps all over the other SOTY nominees. But given the nominees this year, it’s clear as day that the Recording Academy would want to express their stance on issues of social justice that plagued America in 2020. Hence, “I Can’t Breathe” wins SOTY (an opportunity to give H.E.R. (who, at this point, they clearly adore) her first GF win).
“Colors” might win Record of the year too.
“Say So” might win Pop Solo Performance. To me, it’s actually (vocally) the best performance in the lineup.
John Prine might not win American Roots Performance and/or Song. Other than Norah (sorry, gurl), he’s got stiff competition in Performance and I can’t help but feel song would go to “Cabin” or “Hometown.” RIP still.
“Pachamama” wins Improvised Jazz Solo.
All I got for now.

I am once again beginning for them to wait until Damage next year.

-Post Malone takes home a big three award
-Adele will perform
-Taylor will win SOTY.
-Dua will walk away with the most or go home empty handed
-Phoebe will win BNA
-Jacob Collier wins R&B Performance
– Roddy wins Rap Song
-Nas gets shut out again
-Fiona swepts rock
-The Strokes win their first Grammy

it’s not risky if Beyoncé and Megan win to be the end moment for the Grammys.

Tru but it’s not likely. There’s stronger arguments for DSN and Black Parade.

I think if they really wanted to make a statement. While Don’t Start Now is amazing, I feel like giving it to DSN just seems to spot on, and Black Parade is too smaller. Savage was definitely a moment, and that’s a way they can award both Megan’s big year & Queen Bey.
I fail to believe that Beyoncé will win for Black Parade when bigger songs like Halo, Formation, irreplaceable, Say My Name, & Crazy in Love.
