    The Notorius Big? God no!

Who would you put in his spot?

Um, why not? He basically helped redefine East Coast Hip Hop music.

The Notorious B.I.G. and Whitney Houston are great choices but not necessary this early. Maybe next decade. Them over Chaka Khan, Soundgarden, Kraftwerk, and Todd Rundgren is disappointing. Even Thin Lizzy and last year’s John Prine is more deserving; not to mention The Carpenters, Tina Turner, and Willie Nelson.

If the rumored list is true, I’m excited for Whitney and Biggie’s induction. Sucks that they couldn’t include Pat Benatar or Chaka Khan and Rufus.

Biggie was a legend, and it’s pretty clear that the Rock & Rolñ Hall of Fame isn’t only for rock artists anymore. It’s for people who redifined music in general, which the Notorious B.I.G did more than the majority of the other nominees.

A legend? Only in America. Few people know him in Europe and Asia.

Rob Halford, Chris Cornell, Pat Benatar and Lemmy are true legends.

Well, this is an American institution, and I’m sure some people (depending on who you ask) wouldn’t acknowledge those acts mentioned as “legends”.

Biggie is definitely a legend where it matters, and Hip Hop is not the most global genre. But you can’t acknowledge its influence on pop culture.

So, according to you, Chris Cornell, the best vocalist of the 90’s, is not a legend.

Not according to me… Please re-read what I said.

Biggie is a legend and should be honored.

Your opinion, and I respect it. Too bad Biggie got it first. Better luck next time.

I was so confused when I got the email announcement this morning lol. Do they use the old Dancing with the Stars formula to account for the “Fan Vote”?

I’m shocked DMB (with their millions of votes) or Pat Benatar didn’t make it in. But good for 3/5 of my votes: Depeche Mode, Whitney, and Nine Inch Nails!

LOVE THE NOMINEES. Nine inch nails before pat benatar is something. Would have had her replace them but overall love it.

Whitney Houston deserved to be inducted in R&RHOF before Michael jackson, Janet, Madonna, Bob Marley, Green Day and the like. Make up for their mistake they should. do something spl for her this ceremony. Better late than never 😃
