I’m curious to hear your opinions on this iteration of the list.

It re-entered. It fell off in the 2012 edition.

September 24, 2020 at 4:01 pm #1203732569I’m glad my favorite album of all time, So by Peter Gabriel is still on the list, although I’m sad to see it slide lower down in the ranks than it was before. Although I did see that Automatic For The People by R.E.M. moved into the top 100, and Kid A by Radiohead moved further up in the top 100. One album in the top 100 that I don’t think was even included at all in the 2012 update that I’m so happy to see is Hounds Of Love by Kate Bush.

ReplyCopy URLSeptember 24, 2020 at 4:19 pm #1203732613I loved that they included two Mary J. Blige’s albums. What’s the 411? was definitely a snub the first two times. I love the fact that My Life made it all three times.

glad to see so much love for Kendrick, Bey, Frank O, Janet, Stevie, Lauryn, Sade, Aaliyah etc

Angela Bassett, Michelle Yeoh, Brian Tyree Henry.
September 24, 2020 at 4:42 pm #1203732680Pet Sounds should’ve been #1. What’s Going On(the album and the song) is a masterpiece, but Pet Sounds is more deserving of that spot. It’s just a legendary album.
ReplyCopy URLSeptember 24, 2020 at 4:49 pm #1203732700I can tell there’s a lot of recency bias looking at this list.
