Which of the 2010’s Song of the Year nominees with a social or uplifting message do you prefer the most?

Other songs that I could fit in the poll:
    Bon Iver, “Holocene”
    Ed Sheeran, “The A-Team”
Meghan Trainor, “All About That Bass”
    Sia, “Chandelier”
Wiz Khalifa f/ Charlie Puth, “See You Again”

Which of 2020’s socially conscious contenders do you see getting in this year?

“you look like your picture, thank god.”

    Ok Gucci Jr.

We all know “All About That Bass” was promoted as an uplifting song. Stop trolling.

Royals definitely should be the winner here no question. It might not have the biggest production, but it sure had the biggest impact on the music landscape in the 2010s, especially since many of us are broke asf the last decade.

    FYC:
AOTY: Fetch the Bolt Cutters or After Hours
ROTY & SOTY: Blinding Lights & Don’t Start Now
BNA: Megan Thee Stallion or Rina Sawayama
    Rap Album: RTJ4
    Pop Album: SAWAYAMA
    Rock Album: The New Abnormal
    R&B Performance: Do It

How is Love The Way You Lie “uplifting” lol

Which of the 2010’s Song of the Year nominees with a social or uplifting message do you prefer the most?

    Read before nitpicking.

LTWYL has a socially conscious message about domestic abuse. Duh!

“you look like your picture, thank god.”

Lol. I don’t think “Love The Way You Lie” fits in no matter how you put it. But I agree with “All About That Bass” as it’s about accepting one’s self even though it isn’t the societal standard

Chromatica: Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album.

Rain On Me: Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Best Music Video.

    Alice: Best Pop Solo Performance

I vote for Kelly Clarkson’s Stronger (what doesn’t kill you). The chorus is just so uplifting

LTWYL’s message is as self explanatory as you can get.

It’s not a coincidence that Eminem asked Rihanna to feature on the song…

    Helloooo…wtf are y’all smoking?

“you look like your picture, thank god.”

I was torn between “Alright” and “Formaton,” but my vote goes to “Formation.” Beyoncé and Kendrick did these in style and I’m a sucker for songs that say something meant to hit hard home without being preachy.
