    Hi all,

I thought I’d post a thread about any music people are listening to to cope during coronapalooza. But for me personally, when I’m feeling down, sometimes I prefer to listen to sad songs than cheer up, so I thought I’d set up separate threads for good wallow songs at a time of crisis or difficulty and good songs for cheering up when you need a boost.

Lay on your sads here. For me, Patty Griffin gives good wallow: “Not Alone,” “Moon Song,” “When it Don’t Come Easy.” Sarah McLachlan’s “Angel” never fails. And call me cliche, but R.E.M.’s “Everybody Hurts” is a legit classic.

There’s also a song by Sam Cooke that I love called “(Somebody) Ease My Troublin’ Mind”. It’s a beautiful composition. https://open.spotify.com/track/0JgMWvvUhH6UyWOG2oeG1b
