I think the only place Taylor isn’t very popular is Latin America. It saddens me that she has never taken her tours to Mexico and South America. She would be massive if she played at Estadio Azteca, Maracaná, in Argentina.

She is very popular (dare i say “massive”) here in argentina, as in: everyone knows who she is and at least one of her songs. I have no idea why gurl never dared to look down on the map, she would fill stadiums here for sure.

Every big artist ever has come to Buenos Aires, known to drive big and passionate crowds for every artist at every stadium. Except for Ms Swift. She’s the only big act that never came here

Where tf is Mariah Carey? Not only has she been hugely influential as a vocalist (Beyonce, Ariana, Kelly, Christina, and on and on), but she was hugely influential in merging pop and hip-hop as well as in making holiday music such a lucrative enterprise. It is ridiculous she is not on this list, especially as Billie Eilish, Sublime, Tyler the Creator, etc sit on the list.

Good catch. Someone like Garth Brooks or Shania Twain could/should have definitely been included for their influence on taking country to a wider audience. They also influenced the kind of music country artists made.

That list lacking so many influential people like DOOM, Nas, A Tribe Called Quest, J Dilla and putting a rookie like Billie Eilish. No credibility.

    I bomb atomically.

Well, it was specifically for the past 35 years. I know we still see the influence of those two, but if it extended farther back than 1985 it would have been more obvious to include them.

^^^ Dolly Parton and Reba could’ve made the list since they are both no stranger to the acting field as well. Dolly, especially with her songwriting talent.

God bless you and her and Reba always!!!

For sure. There are several country artists who could/should have been included. I think they threw some artists in there to appeal to stan bases and generate interest that way. Still, the exclusion of Mariah and any country artist is startling.
