Can any of you recommend some great Latin artists or albums that aren’t of the popular reggaetón or Latin pop genre? I’m trying to broaden my taste.

Congratulations to Grammy Winners: Jazmine Sullivan, Doja Cat, SZA and Olivia Rodrigo!

Anything by Café Tacuba. I’ve seen them live three times and they’re always amazing, but (unsurprisingly) you’ll get more out of the show if you know the songs. Also, they’re a good gateway into “fusion rock”

If you’re looking for fun, party music, I recommend Los Auténticos Decadentes, from Argentina. Their songs from the ’90s were a must at parties back in the ’90s and 2000s, but their music is still pretty solid.

Finally, an album that I always recommend (even though it’s a bit of an oldie at this point) is Viaje Infinito, by Chilean singer Nicole. It’s pop, but not very well-known in the mainstream. Still, it’s honestly one of my favorite albums to go back to from time to time.

I’m sure there are other recommendations I could make, but these are good places to start IMHO.

Oh, check Miranda! too. They make Dance pop but it’s pretty fun.

Co-signing this, though I’d personally recommend focusing on their first four studio albums (with the first one being their best). Their more recent music isn’t bad, but I don’t find it as exciting as I did their earlier stuff for some reason.
