Honey, Tamia is the bomb.com.  She was runner-up in R&B Female in 1997.  Toni Braxton deserved her win.  She should’ve won Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals and/or Best R&B Album.

I think Whitney was runner up for Female R&B Performance in 1997 since Exhale won R&B Song and was nominated for Song of the Year.

Also, I think Tamia could have won R&B Album in 2013.

Which song would you have omitted in favor of “Stranger in My House”?

2001 was a VERY solid line up. Tamia’s biggest hit had fierce competition. No wonder she was snubbed.

    2001/2002

    Best Female R&B Vocal Performance
    Alicia Keys – “Fallin'”
    Aaliyah – “Rock the Boat”
    India.Arie – “Video”
Mary J. Blige – “Family Affair”
Blu Cantrell – “Hit ’em Up Style (Oops!)”
Jill Scott – “A Long Walk”

Honey, I would NOT have omitted any of the 2002 Best Female R&B Vocal Performance nominees.  That was a strong year like 1997.  Tamia should’ve been the 7th nominee.

Here are some other songs that were worthy of a nomination:

Sunshine Anderson, “Heard It All Before”
    Erykah Badu, “Didn’t Cha Know”
Faith Evans, “You Gets No Love”
Syleena Johnson, “I Am Your Woman”
    Olivia, “Bizounce”

Man, this was when music was good!

They don’t make R&B music like this anymore. SMDH.
