I forgot all about Tamia.  I’m looking forward to hearing her new single.  I know her single and album will flop, but I hope she can score some more Grammy noms.

What’s everyone’s favorite Tamia album?  Mine would be A Nu Day.  Loved the production and vocals on such tracks as “Dear John,” her remake of “Love Me In A Special Way” (favorite song on the album), “Long Distance Love,” “Stranger In My House,” “Tell Me Who” and “If I Were You.”

My favorite Tamia song is “Officially Missing You.”  That song should have blew up.

Lol damn Gucci you have no faith in her. Her last album sold over 300,000 copies considering the lack of promotion she had. My favorite album by her is Between Friends. One of the few albums in recent memory that I can listen the whole way through.

Considering she’s independent 300K was pretty good for her. She’ll probably get some good Urban AC play and maybe some Urban.

Yeah I think she will be fine. I mean a lot of Urban AC artist (Kelly Price, Faith Evans, Ledisi, Kem) had moderate single and sales success.
