I think the fact that it isn’t even called the ‘The Midnights Tour’ speaks volume to how much she wants to prolong the era.

no, it showed the complete opposite. it’s more proof that taylor didnt have much care for ‘Midnights’, and that it was just a quick & simple project she put out to have a fresh pop album to tour alongside the rest of her discography with, (especially her AOTY-winning lovechild ‘Folklore’ which she performed 2x more songs with than ‘Midnights’; the era she confined to the last 30 minutes of the show.)

therefore, could you imagine her reactions when ‘Midnights’ went on be the fastest selling album of this decade, #1 on 30 different countries (her personal best) and all the other crazy spotify/billboard/best selling records & clouts.. all of it achieved with what’s really a side project produced in jack antonoff’s basement? you bet she’d wish she was making a worthy successor to 1989 instead..

and since she’s back at the top of the world again (without the assist of an insane promo campaign like it was during 1989, which later led her to become hated and shunned) she got here now through releasing high quality, excellent and adored works; which means she could very much become even bigger with her next era rather than dropping off again.

because of all this, it’d be very interesting to see what she’s releasing next. i’d wager she would take her time and create her Pop magnum opus while riding on this wave, instead of dropping speak now TV like she hinted. surely it’d be too dumb of a business decision to use all this hype and good grace with something only your diehard fans care about.

I agree. I think the reason why another re-recording hasn’t been announced yet is because Taylor is not sure whether all her success and popularity should be used to propel a new re-record or another studio album. Folklore’s success being used for Fearless TV and RED TV makes sense because they were the first ones and were going to direct the narratives towards the success of her re-recorded albums.

isn’t the reason she hasn’t released Speak Now or 1989 TV related to trademark disputes?

oh you best believe if it was indeed trademark issues, she wouldve made a statement about it, i’d get people, especially her fanbase more riled up. but the fact that she hasnt is proof she hasnt decided to to release SNTV ASAP.

Last I checked she was in the middle of a lawsuit involving Shake it Off. But I think that has been dropped?

Congratulations 12 Time Grammy Winner Taylor Swift!

There were disputes with both 1989TV and SNTV but she could have still released the re-records regardless cause they would’ve gotten resolved in time.

With 1989TV, Shake it off was under a plagiarism dispute which got dropped last month. SNTV also got its trademarks cleared recently. She can release them anytime she wants now.

At this point it’s time to admit that Taylor Sweep will never flop not even once in her entire career. Like I was already gagged by her releasing folklore only for her to release another peak era “Midnights”. Is that even possible? She really is unbelievable and her being successful has helped me become successful as well in the span of just two years after leaving this forum when she won AOTY for folklore.

Lavender Haze has reached top 3 on US Hot AC Radio today!

Taylor has two songs in the top 3. Anti-hero is #2, the song spent 9 weeks at #1 and Lavender Haze just reached a new peak today at #3.

Taylor Swift just set an attendance record at AT&T stadium in Arlington. Almost a quarter of a million people came to see the era’s tour over the weekend, that right there is legendary! This is on track to bring the greatest tour of all time! I fear for Clownderby once the international dates and numbers come through.

Congratulations 12 Time Grammy Winner Taylor Swift!

What’s the number one song currently?
