a record 2 million tickets sold in 1 day, 14 million people lining in queue, (2% of the US popoulation), Ticketmaster chairman says shes got the demand to fill up 900 stadiums, her section of the site garnered 3.5 billion interactions in 1 day – 4x the previous peak. some music industry news/publications are even predicting this tour could gross $1 billion dollars.
obviously, nothing will make these little flop-stans pop their bubbles and admit taylor is the biggest artist in the world – several order of magnitude bigger most other stars. for example lady gaga will be lucky to get a 20k-unit debut for her next album since tony bennett isnt around to carry her this time.
