“The drought was the very worst” is ironic right now. Hurry up and announce 1989!

I wouldn’t be shocked if we got the announcement May 13th and the lead releasing later that night (May 14th) but I don’t think any info about that has leaked from a reliable source.

Okay now why is MINE sounding like her best song? That bridge” braced my self for the goodbyes” wow, speak now been sounding fresh lately, Haunted acoustic version!!! Starting to think it’s her best album, after Folklore and Evermore ofcourse.  Also one thing I realised is Taylor success comes from having a core fan base, which other artist would have released an album like folklore in 2020 and have it sell like that? Taylor doesn’t need hits at this point, her fans will listen to her shit. She doesn’t need to rely on gimmicks or anything,  all she has to do is focus on her art, release good music and the fans will do the rest.Artists like Drake, Ariana , Beiber all need hits, they need the GP. Taylor releasing Evermore out of nowhere and it still got more first day streams than Positions.

I will never forgive Taylor if she doesn’t release BTR on speak Now (TV) or even if she changes the lyrics . If she pulls that shit, I am unstuning. The song is a classic that was written by an angry 20 year old and it should be appreciated that way.

Does anyone else continuously keep coming back to folklore? This album is perfection, I can listen to it on walk, on a drive on a hike, at work. It’s a pristine listen from beginning to end. It cleanses me on the toughest of days and it wrecks me on others. I don’t think folklore will ever not be my number one Taylor album, all the other albums have a tracks that I skip, but this one is just perfect.

the only stains on 1989 are Bad Blood and How You Get The Girl, absolute trash songs even worse than ME!

Not really..she is slut shaming an actress who did nothing. If she gets mad at a Netflix show slut shaming her, she should not do the same to another woman.

The song is a bop…I hope she changes the lyrics or at least removes the mattress line.
She did it with the ‘you are gay’ line already so it should not be hard.

I have been obsessed with Enchanted and Begin Again lately. Speak now/Red have gems.

1989 has a total of zero flaws for me. And even if there was, “Clean” and “New Romantics” would make up for it.

No Taylor song is worse than ME!, except maybe for You Need to Calm Down. But i agree about Bad Blood, i think it’s the only skip on the that album. I’m not crazy about How You Get The Girl, but i don’t really mind it.
