On another note “1989” is the forth album to produce four No.1 pop songs after Future Sex/Lovesounds, The Fame and Teenage Dream. “Bad Blood” is also the fastest song in a decade to hit No.1 in five weeks and tied for the second fastest time to hit No.1. Only one other song from this century has hit No.1 in at least 5 weeks “Over Again” by Nelly and Tim McGraw hit No.1 in four weeks in 2004.

I wonder if the radio play…are stations playing the original or the remix? The remix is the one that has been permanently in the top 10 on iTunes. The original is awful.

It’s a 50/50 mix just like all other remixes. The both chart on the hot 100 as a single entry.

Style hit #1 on A/C radio becoming Taylor’s 6th #1 hit the most for anyone on that chart Adele is in second with 3. Speaking of Adele the only album to have 3 A/C #1 hits from the same album Is “21” and now “1989”. All singles from 1989 have hit #1 on Pop Radio and the 1st three singles hit #1 on A/C and Adult Pop. Not to mention having 4 #1 Digital songs (the record is 5).

Taylor so far is the #1 album seller of 2015 being the only act to sell 1 million copies of an album with “1989”. The set has sold 1.32 million copies and 2.01 million units. In second is Drake with 0.96 million.

“Blank Space” just hit 1 billion views on Vevo becoming the 3rd Vevo video to hit that mark. It’s overall the 4th video to reach a billion views after Gangnam Style, Baby and Dark Horse.

1989 is the fastest selling album in 10 years passing the 5 million mark in its 34th week on the chart. The last album to move 5 million copies in less time is Usher’s Confessions which moved 5mil in 19 weeks. If you remember Confessions was the last album to have 10 weeks of 200k or more until 1989 accomplished it.

21 by Adele hit the 5mil mark in it 42ed and was the last album to spend 34 weeks in the top 10 until 1989.

“Never Grow Up” from “Speak Now” has just been certified Gold. It’s the 10th single from “Speak Now” to receive a certification after “Mine” & “Mean” (3x), “Back To December” (2x), “The Story Of Us”, “Sparks Fly” & “Ours” (1x) and “Speak Now”, “Better Than Revenge”, “Enchanted” and “Never Grow Up” (Gold).

Shake It Off is still on the Hot 100 49 weeks after its debut. Blank Space and Style have both fallen off having dropped below 50. SIO is at #47. If it can manage to stay above 50 for the next 3 weeks it will be one of few songs to spend a year on the chart.

The 5h single from 1989 is Wildest Dreams. A fantastic song but I have no clue how it will chart.

That would not have been my choice, but I am sure it will do well.
