    Just baaaad people…

Thanks to Taylor Swifts and her dedicated fanbase, creative artists like Billy Eilish, Lorde, Carly Rae Jepsen can’t redeem the dying genre of pop music enough!

Taylor Swift is like the Eminem of pop. They do have technical skills, but lately they don’t even try to put their hearts and soul into their music, and thus making it so bland, pretentious and manufactured.

    Pitchfork tore her ass UP!

And when she says “shade never made anyone less gay,” she adopts slang with queer black origins in an attempt to create a mic-drop moment, but ends up sounding like another corporation proving they’re “down for the cause” during Pride Month.

    Lol, damn..

    I will always love you

Pitchfork sometimes goes out of its way to give harsh reviews to some songs to the point they lose all of their credibility. Most of the time they give bad reviews to almost every song. Literally the only songs I remember them praising this year are Shallow and TUN, probably because their appeal were undeniable at the time of release.

I don’t like this new song, but that review is over-the-top clickbait.

Let’s be real dude, Pitchfork gave your most successful album a 2.8/10. If I were you, I wouldn’t even bother to read any other articles.

Don’t even bother to read Pitchfork, it’s one of these rare sites like The Neddle Drops, that will tear these generic pop music apart with no mercy. Pop fans should keep them in the avoid list and continue to suck on to Billboard magazine and Rolling stones.

pitchfork lost its edges when it became the most mainstream consumer guide of “what is cool”, the fact that they only really started reviewing pop music after shifting ownership should give you some idea of where they stand in terms of credibility. will I still take them over rolling stones any day tho? absolutely

I don’t agree with the entirety of the review but they do make some valid points.

    for example:

“You Need to Calm Down” is like one of those fancy unicorn cupcakes, an impossibly cute confection designed to distract you from the fact that it’s a mediocre dessert.

I did enjoy the song, but it does feel like it’s a continuation of her dip into mediocrity. I don’t think it’s the follow-up she needed, but it has a positive message.
