Im nervous for tomorrow. I don’t really care about the Grammys. It’s just politics. There are plenty of deserving artists that we all know or think might get snubbed for various reasons. Most of the predictions still have Dua and Harry as a maybe when they’ve had HUGE years but also acknowledge that if Gaga gets nominated it’s because of her name not because it’s worthy. I only want the Grammy nom because they want it. They want this as the last frontier, the last achievement they need to conquer. I have no hopes for it though and tomorrow will probably suck knowing they’re up waiting for the announcement. For now, I will listen to BE and remind myself that with or without that nomination, they’re still successful and they just gave me one of my top3 albums from them.

Things are in an “okay” perspective. Solo stans started competing to get songs to #1 on iTunes and started judging everyone who wanted/prefered LGO at #1 because ‘we shall support all members’ work” (as if not all BTS members sang in the song LMAO). As for the album, i think it is fine, but LGO is at risk of not debuting at #1 because of solo stans acting up…

If we maintain the current pace of orders from the website for LGO I think #1 is quite safe. Dynamite will at least re-enter Top 10. Stay, Blue & Grey should make it into the Hot 100 with strong sales on iTunes. Not sure about other tracks since their sales are not as good and streams are decreasing.
I just read some news that BE is behind the #1 album in the UK by 7,000 units and it currently has 15,000 units in total. Knowing not having the standard version would hurt it sales but still. Hopefully UK Armys can pull through in the next few days.

Solo stans are the absolute worst. But it won’t affect our chances of getting LGO to #1 since other tracks don’t have the website sales
ReplyCopy URLThanks for the replies! I admit I celebrated when I heard Blue & Grey reached #1 but I didn’t think it would remain there for so long and then start the fight with Stay. LGO is most definitely the priority now. But I don’t think solo stans would buy LGO anyways, would they? So it doesn’t make that much of a difference. I was more worried about Monster and Billie’s song threatening our chances. But I’m glad to know US armys are buying a lot, really hope we can make it to #1 even if only for a week

Thank you for the info, I had no idea Positions and Mood were still doing so well. I think the streaming numbers are not going great right? But I hope sales can make up for it, I read there were funding accounts that raised more than 50k dolars. Really sad about the total lack of radio support though 🙁

positions is already #13 on overall radio

The funbases don’t have enough unique buyers from fhe US tho and it’s going very slow with the funds because of it. They can’t give money for 16 copies at a time like before insteas they can just give 4 for the website and it’s going slow. So if you are US army please request if you can and buy LGO and the tracks if possible

I was chill about it yesterday but now i’m nervous again so i think i’d rather spend the announcement on twitter (at least we’ll support each other through this!) and then disappear from the internet completely for like a week.
