Better late than never. The legendary Christina Aguilera just turned 35 on December 18th.
HAPPY (BELATED) BIRTHDAY to the Voice of Her Generation!!!August 11, 2016 at 11:24 pm #1201906060
I have to admit that I am impressed with the last two tracks she has released so far this year: “Hands” and “Telepathy” featuring Nile Rodgers.
I wish her next release is along the lines.August 13, 2016 at 9:37 am #1201907030
Honey, I did not feel like digging through the archives to find this thread.
“Change” and “Telepathy” are perfection!August 13, 2016 at 1:48 pm #1201907133

Honey, us Chrissy fans know how lit Bionic is.
Lotus is dope too. Though, not as strong as its predecessor.
There is another Christina Aguilera thread somewhere. Let’s merge the two. Werk, for bringing this thread back to life!May 15, 2020 at 2:38 pm #1203483528
Bionic is the most underrated piece of work by any mainstream female. Nothing on that album resembled what Gaga was doing at the time. I loved What Gaga did at the time and her success acclaim and impact was deserving. I love what Christina did with bionic, her album had a lot of indie electronic touches which is what I enjoyed the most. No other girl at the time was working with the likes of Zero 7, Le Tigre, Ladytron, Switch. She was the girl that first put Sia on the map. Bionic was truly ahead of its time.
My favorite tracks:
Birds of Prey
Not Myself Tonight
Lift Me Up.
What She did with Sia is probably her most beautiful ballads of all time: I Am, You Lost Me, All I Need. I am so happy people are rediscovering this great record. It’s not perfect, but it also didn’t deserve the stupid amount of negativity at the time. Give it a chance y’all.
