It has gained 4,5 million views in its first 24 hours.

Some sources say it’s an official single, some say it’s not. I don’t know which one of them is reliable.

She didn’t send Hey Hey Hey to the radios. Instead, she’s releasing Tsunami as the next single of off Witness.

Well….. we have witnessed the failure of Katy Perry. Dominated for most of the 2010s, now finds herself in a tough position. $25 million for American Idol? If you were relevant on the charts, maybe you deserved it. Lionel Richie deserves that much money, he’s a legend. Katy should just end the era with “Hey Hey Hey” and send that track to radio. The tables have turned. Prism was bigger than ARTPOP and Joanne ended up being bigger than Prism. It’s strange, but Gaga is likely to end the decade on top. I’m not sure about Katy.

This is a pretty good song, but if the better Never Really Over couldn’t become a hit I doubt this song, which is way less hook-heavy, will. Shame, Katy’s delivering quality.

The good, Katy sounds great. Her voice sounds lovely.

That being said, I don’t like this song. Her songs recently have been very middle school poetry set to music. I love a good ballad or slower song, but a beat wouldn’t hurt either. She has given us some great hook laden pop over the years, but this isn’t it. It’s not bad, don’t get me wrong. It’s just, to me, not good. It just is.

I’ve actually really enjoyed NRO, HIH and Daisies. Smile is growing on me as well. Hope everything goes well for her and Smile sees at least some success.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>That cover is atrocious. Did anyone else see the fanmade edit on that ate it up on Twitter?</p>
