ReplyCopy URLNovember 13, 2020 at 2:38 am #1203833451“Holiday” is actually DOPE! Lil Nas X gave us visuals and a bop. And YESSS @ him confirming he tops & bottoms in the lyrics. Vers king 👏🏾

👑Mary Wilson (1944-2021)November 13, 2020 at 4:58 am #1203833571For the life of me, I will never understand the top/bottom obsession a lot of these social media “queers” have. People stay desperate to show how basic they are.
ReplyCopy URLNovember 13, 2020 at 5:28 am #1203833597Gays/queers are often times criticized within the community for their sexual positions. Particularly bottoms. As if bottoming diminishes a man’s masculinity…
Lil Nas X flexing his sexuality with the lyric, “I might bottom on the low, but I top shit” is clever. It shows that the “obsession” some have isn’t limited to one or the other. You can be both & proud.

👑Mary Wilson (1944-2021)November 13, 2020 at 5:40 am #1203833625Lil Nas X is one of the most creative new artists of these past 2 or 3 years. Love how he always goes the extra mile with videos as well. I hope Holiday does well, maybe perhaps win him another Grammy.
I do wonder whether or not he’ll submit to Melodic Rap or Pop Solo.
ReplyCopy URLNovember 13, 2020 at 5:54 am #1203833649I wasn’t going at LNX. I was going at folks who stay stuck on shit like what type of sex people indulge, their identities, topping and bottoming. This is 2020. Everybody needs to evolve.
As far as the song, I don’t really like it. I haven’t liked any of his songs. But I do appreciate what LNX is giving.
ReplyCopy URLNovember 13, 2020 at 6:01 am #1203833665Lil Nas X has hinted that “Call Me By Your Name” will be the first official single from his debut album. He’s definitely embracing his sexuality this era. And I’m here for it 👏🏾
Can we take a moment to appreciate how dope “Holiday” looks as a visual? Artists don’t give us production or a spectacle anymore in music videos. He’s filling a void that’s been missing for a while.

#80-something on iTunes downloads chartNovember 14, 2020 at 11:58 am #1203836781Lil Nas X will struggle to get another big hit. His music is a bit gimmicky, and his whole image screams “one-hit wonder,” even if he’s technically not one.
ReplyCopy URLNovember 14, 2020 at 12:14 pm #1203836806Did we forget “Holiday” is a Christmas song and not an official first single? 🤔
