The proof of him being that Lil Kim account is legit non existent.

Indeed the “proof” isn’t there when it comes to the Lil Kim account. While most of the other stuff has been pretty widely known and widely publicized almost as soon as he became famous. He was a bitchy teenage stan queen 4-5 years ago. That’s hardly something that will shock most or something most would hold against him, unless you already felt some type of way towards him.

    yes it is.

i won’t be coming on this thread again, i’ve linked everything you need to see and if you want to support someone as disgustingly ignorant as him then that’s on all of you but says a lot about your character! i don’t like cancel culture but there is no reason to give somebody like him a platform whatsoever

Nobody asked you to post some old Twitter thread with old ass social media posts. You posted the shit. Now, you mad no one cares.

That junk is nothing we don’t see every day from stan Twitter. And at least he was a teenager at the time as opposed to some of these very grown ass people who indulge that type of nonsense. If you want to get pissy about it, cool. But don’t try to force others to care. “Canceling” doesn’t even work anyways for the most part. So, don’t waste the attempts on some BS.

We want more artists like Lil Nas X, can’t wait for this album. Already put CMBYM in ROTY/SOTY.

People trying to cancell him for some obvious trolling he did on a stan twitter account 4-6 years ago are doing too much.

Anyways with Montero predicted for a #1 debut, I’m happy Nas is officially not a one era wonder. Who would’ve thought he’d be the 2020 BNA alum with most #1 hits.

Finally watched the video and I don’t see the big deal that people are suddenly attacking him. It’s not the weirdest video I have ever seen 😂. Song is great though

The album, Montero, is dropping in the Summertime. With a #1 single & tons of buzz, it might receive an AOTY nod. “Call Me By Your Name” is now in my Pop Solo & Music Video predictions. Nas X knows how to get people talking so his music might sustain longevity throughout 2021.

Lil Nas X working his way to #1 again with his Tik Tok magic and memes. Genuinely didn’t expect it to happen again. Props to him.

This rhetoric against Lil Nas X is really dangerous. These same right wing pundits spent years and years reminding us of Benghazi, when it’s this very type of rhetoric that caused Benghazi in the first place. Dehumanizing people just because they made a satirical work of art that doesn’t subscribe to your religious views can potentially justify violence against them in the eyes of some. What happened to Charlie Hebdo could happen to Lil Nas X if this rhetoric continues. And it’s just very irresponsible. Yesterday Fox News was discussing this video in their prime time show with Laura Ingraham. Sure controversy sells. But it’s also raising security concerns for him. I hope he’ll stay safe.

Very true, but it’s worth noting that same way a true liberal should not use the fa***t term if he isn’t gay, he should also desist from bastardizing religious concepts he doesn’t believe in.

Liberal mentality revolves around mutual respect. Both Nas and his conservative critics are reckless tbh.

Montero is poised to go #1 next week. He won. Congrats to Lil Nas X for officially not being a one hit wonder anymore.

I still have my reservations about calling him the next big thing tho. From social media alone, it seems that more people are fascinated by the idea of a black queer artist in the mainstream than they are by Lil Nas X himself or his music. Waiting to see how his album does.

Lil Nas X is one of the first major examples of an actual “stan” getting famous and I imagine MANY more will come after him and get called out for similar things. He’s been able to dodge most of this without addressing it and that’s simply because the majority of the gp simply doesn’t care what he did on twitter when he was a young teen whether that’s good or bad.

What a silly ass perspective. The whole point of the video is not about respecting anyone. It’s about attacking a concept that he felt was used to harm and oppress him. Just like many who grow up in the Muslim religion or grow up Mormon or whatever make “art” that is critical of those things. In the US, Christianity is dominant. So, this idea of him “offending” Christians is just dumb. But they’re also helping to give him exactly what he wants, another number 1.

I do feel some are pushing him because they want to see someone like him have success in the mainstream. Not only a black male “queer” but unabashedly and aggressively so. I can’t hate on it since there’s worse and more basic artists who have had years long success.

No disrespect but for someone eager to use the terms “silly” and “dumb”you really aren’t making a point, just some incoherent, contention-imbued and shallow rooted rantings, efficaciously misaligned from the specific pose of my POV which is avoiding “unnecessary” conflict if physical or mental distress could be inspired.
