Beyoncé and Jay-Z Break A Billion
The Carters have reportedly become the first billion dollar couple in music.
Here’s one more reason to “Bow Down” when Beyoncé hits the stage at the Staples Center on Friday June 28 to kick off the BET Experience. Mrs. Carter and her man are officially the first billion-dollar couple in music history.
The International Business Times
is reporting that the profits from Young B’s Mrs. Carter tour
(reportedly $116 million) as well as her recent H&M campaign have
pushed the power couple over the nine-figure threshold. In case you’re keeping score, Beyoncé has also done endorsement
deals with L’Oreal and Tommy Hilfiger, racked up 17 Grammy Awards, and
sold over 75 million records worldwide. And that’s not counting her
film career. All that plus she’s raising her daughter Blue Ivy and buying her man private jets for father’s day. (Of course Jay’s
got a few assets of his own, but you already know about Roc Nation and
the New Jersey Nets.) So when she says “I Been On” you’d best believe hehttp://www.bet.com/news/music/2013/04/18/beyonce-and-jay-z-break-a-billion.html

Wow! While I am a fan of both I didn’t see that coming.

This is life. She looks better than even. She is coming to slay.

It’s not that I don’t like it, because it’s obviously great, but I just don’t think it’s anything special or surprising coming from her. It’s kind of just the same thing repeated over and over again (though the middle part is stunning), and it’s about a minute and a half too long. It’s kinda exactly what I expected it to be based on the Pepsi commercial..

By then it’s already tiresome. The live version sounds the same, so I don’t know if I should keep my hopes up or not.
