    Get it, Usher!

I remember a certain poster saying that Frank Ocean would outsell Usher.  Egg on his face!

Both sold well.  Why is it so important to you that Usher sold a few more than Frank Ocean?

What exactly is he getting? A gold certification? This album has to be one of the biggest flops of the year. And that is sad because I thought it was his best album. The promotion was horrible but the material was great.

LMFAO! Frank is 7,000 copies away from Usher, and going into Grammy season. Frank will still outsell Usher when it’s all said and done. That’s just the year-end list, not the all said and done list. I mean, don’t be such an idiot.

Selling 500K is “getting it?”  Really?  If it was ANY other artist, you’d be saying what a flop that is.  Kinda like saying “Get It Xtina” when her album has sold what….300K if that?

And it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that with the push Ocean is bound to get from the Grammys, that he will easily bridge that measily 7000K gap between him and Flopsher.

Does it really matter if Usher sell more than Frank Ocean ? He’s one of the most successful R&B artist of all time. He’ll go Gold and move on to the next one. No R&B album went gold last year but Ushe, Frank and Chris will all be certified Gold any day now.

And Gucci you have to stop being shady cause we all knew who you were talking about. Frank will outsell Usher in the long run and rightfully so. Usher fans shouldnt be worried about Frank Ocean when he has a Diamond album.

The music industry can’t be happy with the 2012 sales numbers. Just 10 albums sold 1 million or more copies during the year, which constitutes a new low for the Nielsen SoundScan era. (The previous low was 13, which was the final tally for both 2010 and 2011.)

Just 43 albums sold 500K copies, which is also a record low. (The previous low was 48, which was the final tally for both 2010 and 2011.)

This is awful! What changes will the music industry make now that album sales are complete crap?

I wonder how many albums sold at least 2 million copies last year?

LOL! That is like the perfect response. I dont know what’s funnier: how appropiate that gif is, that Gucci used the expression “egg on his face” or that she’s celebrating that Usher has sold less than 500,00 copies! LOL! But, she was right, though. As of now, Usher is outselling Frank.

I don’t think Up All Night crossed two million. I’ll have to search for the list.

Interesting finally seeing the albums sales. Thoughts:

    – The Lumineers are about to cross a million sales! Wow.
    – Rihanna seems to be pretty much at the same point she always is with her albums. Follow-up singles should get her over the million mark.
    – didn’t realize Kendrick Lamar’s sales were that good. 700,000
    – “Girl On Fire” isn’t doing great things for Alicia’s album sales. She really needs a 2nd single to hit on the pop charts
    – Maroon 5 is over 1 million sold with their godawful album. And they probably have a lot of life left in that album too.
    – Ke$ha is struggling with her second album. Only 200,000 sold. Wow. That’s rough.
    – Too bad more people aren’t picking up Pitbull’s album. It’s actually really good.
    – Cool that Frank Ocean is gonna break 500,000 sold (probably this week with the Grammy bump)
    – Dang. Christina Aguilera is now at #135 with only just over 200,000 sold. Brutal.
    – It’s a shame Ne-Yo’s album isn’t selling better. It’s really good. Hopefully “Forever Now” hits and causes an increase.
    – Susan Boyle hasn’t even hit 200,000 with her latest album. Ouch. I enjoy her, but producers really f***ed up her career by phoning in the production on every album

Christina’s days as a reigning pop star has been over since Bionic. Her sales aren’t surprising.

Frank’s album sales are only decent and somewhat disappointing considering the amount of hype he had these last few months.

The Lumineers’ sales are rather impressive.

    Ke$ha is like whatever.
