Exile would have done way worse than cardigan on radio. The bon iver part is so not radio friendly. It would not be the smash hit we want it to be.
Imo,cardigan was the right choice for lead. Maybe the 1 or august could’ve been but others would have done even worse than cardigan on charts.the gp loves pop taylor

Maybe the 1 or august could’ve been but others would have done even worse than cardigan on charts.I’m not sure … exile was clearly a fan favourite so it would have done well on streaming services and some ballads have gone on to become radio hits too. But regardless, she should have seen the potential and given it some promo.

A couple days I said right where you left me was the worst song on the evermore/folklore cycle. I take that back, it’s actually quite good, but it is rightfully a bonus track. It’s time to go is a complete masterpiece, so beautiful.

For who? It’s streams are increasing on weekly basis. Delicate is a masterpiece.
Exile is great, GP favourite, with promotion and an MV it would have been a smash, imo.
I still think it might at some point. Maybe if its used as the main song in a movie? It is so cinematic! It would fit great in a movie about a separation or divorce.
