Taylor could win SOTY. It really comes down to how much voters are feeling Folklore. If they are really loving her this year, she can win. It’s hard to tell how much the hype will take her.

i wanna ask something it’s probably very off but do voters from UK usually vote for uk artists? is that a thing?

Because i saw someone saying uk based magazines reviews gave future nostalgia very higher than their usual ratings. So is that a thing i mean mumford and sons(british folk band)  winning aoty was very off as well

2017 adele won

2016 no uk artist in aoty

2015 ed and sam smith was nominated but beck won

So the only time in the past decade where a UK artist lost was because there was another UK artist nominated. Seems like the UK voters are quite numerous.

Would be very favorable for Dua’s AOTY chances (and I personally already think she will win).

The reach. Adele was destroyed everyone in US as well and that’s why she won. If she pulled those numbers only in UK, she wouldn’t win.
