I’ve been revisiting this lovely band’s music in quarantine. I am in love with their beautiful lyrics and Hayley Williams stunning voice. The punk bias the academy has is a shame! Both the self titled Paramore and After Laughter are some of the best albums released last decade. I’m gonna listen to their earlier work. I’m sure it’ll be different since there were other band members back then. This band should have more than one Grammy And they should be even bigger world wide. Some of my favorite songs.
    Daydreaming
    Last Hope
Hate to See your Heart Break
    Pools
    Rose CoLorde Boy
    Fast in My Car
    (One of Those) Crazy Girls
    Grudges
    Caught in the Middle
    The Only Exception
    Ankle biters
    26
    Tell Me Now!

Pretty much the entire After Laughter album!

What are some of your favorite Paramore songs and albums/songs? What do you think of this band?

Congratulations Taylor Swift on 6 Grammy Nominations

“The Only Exception” is one of the most beautiful songs ever written.

The fact that Hayley Williams herself just tweeted that she hates this song-

Anyways, Brand New Eyes is tied with After Laughter for my favorite album by them. Includes some of their best writing, such as Playing God, Looking Up, Ignorance, Brick by Boring Brick, Feeling Sorry, and of course, The Only Exception.

After Laughter is my favourite one because I can really relate to the songs and came out in the moment I needed it. It has a special place in my heart and top 5 albums of all time.

I’ve always loved them since they pretty much became the soundtrack to some years of my life so I love them. Although I will have to go the Hayley Williams route and say that I enjoy now more and are my favourite and best albums their last 2 since the angst that carries their first albums isn’t in me anymore. Not to say I don’t enjoy their first albums but that time of my life is over. Although from time to time I like to listen to them.

Also I find it hilarious that Hayley hates Brand New Eyes and The Only Exception when it’s most people’s favourite.

its very true. I feel like Paramores music is the soundtrack to our generation. Those of us Milenials whose adolescent Years were in the 00s and 20s were in the 10s. Their music brings tears to my eyes. It really does cut deep into my soul. After Laughter is what I needed in a time where I didn’t know what to do with my life, parents divorced, failing in in grad school, being told I wasn’t good enough. 26 is probably one of the saddest songs ever written. It really captures how you feel when you reach your mid-twenties. I can’t wait for what this band has in store in the future.

hayley has always been hard on herself. I feel like she doesn’t know how truly special her talent is.
