With hundreds of song covers and a few original ones the Glee Cast was a phenomenon a few years ago, when the series was at its too moment.

They received a few nominations, mostly on the Soundtrack/Visual Media categories, but to me they have been MORE deserving many times with their best covers.

What are some nominations or wins you would give to them? This is just to play, not taking in consideration the competition or chart success, only the quality of their performances.

Don’t Stop Believin’ is overrated, but the fact that it lost to a live version of that terrible Train song…

Their acapella version of How Will I Know, Some Nights, and Let’s Have a Kiki remain the best, along with that song Mercedes sang about breaking car windows or some shit. That said, I would’ve loved a win for Proud Mary over DSB.

Was any of their Christmas albums ever submitted to Traditional Pop Vocal Album?

Their acapella version of How Will I Know

To this day I’m still shocked that none of their Acapella performances managed to be nominated in Best Arrangement, Instrumental or A Cappella.

    I personally would’ve nominated

2012 – Teenage Dreams (preferred Somewhere Only We Know but I think that uses instruments)
2012 – Rolling in the Deep
    2013 – How Will I Know
    2014 – Longest Time

Would’ve also nominated in Song Written for a Visual Media

    2012 – Loser Like Me
    2012 – Get It Right
    2014 – All or Nothing
    2016 – This Time

Genuinely shocked that Loser Like Me never got nominated since Max Martin writing the first original music for Glee just scream Grammy bait.

Not Glee per say, but Amber Riley was robbed of a nomination for Best Musical
Theatre for the London Cast Recording of Dreamgirls.

Their version of Dog Days Are Over was amazing. Jenna Ushkowitz was an underused and underrated singer.

For real. Glee had many problems in hindsight, but the singing was always tight, and some of the songs matched so well with the delivery and the plot it’s insane. Their rendition of How Will I Know is honestly gorgeous.

I’m actually surprised by your love to Let’s Have a Kiki, quite unusual choice.

And yeeeees, their rendition of Proud Mary still remains one of their best, such a great performance. I would support that win.

The fact that half of the seasons they made her unable to perform a full song without having a meltdown was criminal and very rude.
