TUN the song and album both debut #1

When tu,n went number 1, 7 rings was the song that was atop the hot 100. It had already charted before that so she didn’t debut both at the top.

The fact that “folklore” is still doing this well in the middle of a pandemic with decreased physical sales is great news for Taylor. It’s also bad news for Gaga and Dua stans that were trying to defend their artist’s poor sales. The Weeknd, Juice Wrld, and now Taylor Swift are proof that albums can still sell extremely well if they have enough passion behind them. Chromatica and Future Nostalgia simply didn’t have that passionate push (and also the former was screwed over by poor timing).

Chromaticas first week sales were the highest Gaga had done since 2013 tho. No one was really saying they were lower due to covid. Gaga doesn’t sell like Taylor first week.

Chromatica didn’t sell bad. It was the victim of very bad timing.

Chromatica’s first week sales were very good actually. Its problem was longevity. So yeah maybe wait a little before celebrating just based on the first week numbers. Let’s see how it does after a month.

folklores numbers are very much worth celebrating when most everyone on here was saying that she’d only sell 300k

Talking about folklore’s longevity, i think it can spend multiple weeks at #1 on billboard 200 chart.

She will have longevity in the US, Canada, Australia and China as usual. This time her album won’t have longevity in other countries but it’s not like she needs it.

    the homophobia

He’s clearly a fan of Pop Taylor and 1989 was pop perfection with help from Max Martin and Shellback.
