Darlings, Madonna’s best album was Bedtime Stories. Lady Gaga’s best one is Joanne. Britney’s best one is Circus. Adele’s best one is 25. Amy Winehouse’s best song was You Know I’m No Good. Beyoncé is far from being legendary.

Lorde and Billie Eilish wouldn’t have become as big as they were/ are if it weren’t for Lana Del Rey. The authenticity debates surrounding Lana made the path for the likes of Lorde and Billie much easier to use.

Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston were equally matched vocalists, but Mariah Carey was/ is a far greater musical artist – on par with the likes of Michael Jackson. She was also a much greater vocal technician than Whitney ever was – she could/ still can do things with the different textures of her voice that no other vocalist, male or female, could/ can ever dream of.

The two biggest R&B stars right now – Ella Mai and Khalid – aren’t reflective of the entire genre itself and shouldn’t be credited for “bringing R&B back”. It never actually left it just wasn’t/ isn’t getting as much coverage as Hip Hop.

Beyoncé not winning AOTY in 2017 shouldn’t have been surprising. The Grammys have always snubbed more deserving urban-leaning albums in the general category (see Confessions by Usher, The Emancipation of Mimi by Mariah Carey, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy by Kanye West – (all landmark records in Hip-Hop and R&B which were snubbed)

Toni Braxton is highkey overrated. Except Long as I Live, Sex and Cigarettes was NOT a good album.

Ariana Grande NEEDS to return to making more R&B-influenced pop and stop with the trap-influenced pop. She may sell less, but she’ll reinvigorate the passion from her fanbase

Untitled Unmastered is lowkey one of Kendrick Lamar’s best projects.

This may be my childhood self speaking, but I feel like Usher’s Confessions should’ve won AOTY in 2005.

Trey Songz’s songs “Heart Attack” and “Can’t Be Friends” are both of the greatest R&B songs of the decade.

Travis Scott’s album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight is underrated in many respects. “the ends”, “coordinate”, “goosebumps” and “through the late night” are some of Travis’ best songs up to this point in his career.

Adele sounds off-key as a live singer. Horribly off-key.

Lizzo’s music sucks. She can sing and she’s a great performer, but it feels like she writes her songs looking for viral Instagram captions, Twitter hashtags, and slogans for t-shirts sold at Target. Corny beyond belief and really desperate audience pandering, IMO.

Beyonce’s music has been bad for over half a decade. Her songwriting devolved in the self-titled era, but everything else was still fun and enjoyable. Lemonade was a shameless publicity stunt where the music was unbelievably boring and formless; its acclaim rested solely on the visuals driving the political/substantive narrative. Everything is Love was rote, bloated artistic complacency. The less said about that Lion King soundtrack the better.

    Lorde is overrated.
    “Royals” makes no sense lyrically.
Backstreet Boys were better than you remember.
Taylor Swift hasn’t had a good song since 1989 (the album, not the year)
“This is America” really only is good when played with the music video, by itself it’s just okay.
Ke$ha was a huge guilty pleasure back in the day.
Billie Eilish’s songs and musical stylings make no sense.
Meghan Trainor SUCKS! Her best song is “Better When I’m Dancin'”.
Ariana Grande doesn’t deserve her fame.
Adele is one of the five best female vocalists of all time.

I'm not perfect, but I keep trying.

Nicki Minaj never made quality “Grammy-worthy music”, she is mostly a pop artist and a shitty one, thank god her career is done.

    Madonna is overrated.

Drake doesn’t deserve his success, he is painfully boring and dull. His music is yuck!

Cardi B is kinda fading away, Lizzo and Megan Thee Stalion are currently more relevant and successful than her on charts.

Blank Space is one of the most iconic pop songs of 2010s.

Darlings, if you think Madonna is overrated, you clearly know nothing about pop culture.

Kid Cudi is the most influential rapper of the late 2000s.

His style, sound, versatility and persona paved the way for Kanye’s later career as “Yeezus”.

Also, Vic Mensa, Wiz Khalifa, & Travis Scott have cited Cudi as inspiration.

    Yet he’s still incredibly underrated!

Honey, don’t embarass yourself saying that someone as groundbreaking as Madonna is overrated. No one, not even Michael Jackson used mainstream art/pop music to make social and political statements like she did and managed to be as successful as she was/is.

Blank Space = THAT is overrated.
