Fearless deserved it’s triumph for Album of the Year. Cohesive, blockbuster record, had two massive hits. And beautifully written. Fight me bitches! Hey was not even close.
I’m guessing the placements were like this:

    1. Fearless
    2. The Fame
    3. Big Whiskey
    4. I Am… Sasha Fierce
    5. The E.N.D.

Come to think of it this was a solid album of the year lineup.

    FYC: Grammys 2022

    AOTY: evermore
    ROTY, SOTY, Pop Solo: willow
    Pop Album: evermore
Pop Duo: evermore w Bon Iver
    Rap Song/ Melodic Rap: closure
    Dance Recording: long story short
    Remix Recording: Love Story (elvira)
Country Solo/Country Song: cowboy like me
Country Duo: You All Over Me w Marren Morris
    American Roots Perf/Song: ivy
    Gospel Per: epiphany (live)
Rock Perf/Song: ‘tis the damn season
    Music Video: willow
    Music Film: folklore studio sessions

I really love Fearless and that was a deserving AOTY win.

Another year I remember being so competitive was the year prior when Raising Sand took home the cake.

Beyonce won 6 Grammys including SOTY, she was second.

Honey, Fearless is a shitty Album of the Year winner.  The 2010 AOTY nominees were the worst ever.  BARF!

Am I the only who cares that The Product G&B were cheated at the 2000 Grammys? How does “Maria Maria” win Pop Duo/Group Performance when it clearly was meant to be filed under the Pop Collaboration with Vocals category (not like it stood a chance over “Smooth” tho)? I think that’s some heavy BS they pulled right there.

I don’t know why y’all keep trying to give Beyonce more Grammys when she already has too many.

Probably done in order to maximize Grammy wins. Maria Maria should have been been submitted to Pop Collaboration.

Honey, Beyoncé has way too many undeserved Grammys.  She’s the reason why a R&B panel was created.

That lineup is kinda terrible, for my money Fearless is easily the best one, and even then I think it’s just shy of great.
