Raising Sand is one of the best albums I’ve ever heard. Glad they snatched back-to-back pop collab wins and an AOTY win among many more.

I wish that Tom’s Diner by Suzanne Vega could have gotten nominated for something at the Grammys.

Nelly’s “Tip Drill” is one of the greatest music videos of all-time.

Sometimes I wish Norah Jones pulled a Beyoncé and added her name to the songwriting credits for “Don’t Know Why”. It’s gonna be hard af is she wants to complete her GF sweep.

Who (of the main pop girls)  will challenge beyonce as touring force this decade?

    2020s Predictions
I feel like Ariana Grande will the biggest pop star in the world during the 2020s. I could see her going more into alternative r&b route and fill the Beyoncé role in music. She could be the new queen of pop music, going number one every time her song debuts compared with an album.

I feel like Post Malone’s style will become more stale when the decade progresses, hopefully he switches up. I wonder when Drake will stop pandering to the masses.

Beyonce will still get on remixes and be elevated on a pedistole, but I don’t what else she can talk about. Taylor Swift will stay in the same lane, maybe be more outspoken.

Dua Lipa’s And Chloe x Halle’s newest record shown that they still have places to go. Lizzo, I’m not sure, the songs she is known for were debut before the album cycle she is known for.

There will be more crossover hits like Old Town Road, Depascito, and Gangnam Style. There will be more Latin hits crossing over.

Rap is going to sound more grimier and flows are going to match like Urban hip-hop today that pop rap has gone away from. We are going to separate new Kendrick from old Kendrick. Kanye will continue to make progressive Christian music, maybe even learn how to do it correctly. Travis will continue to stay in the pop sphere, innovating trap music. Speaking of trap music, there will be a new genre that spurs out of it. Rappers will be the new pop stars.

More pop acts will be women of color. Billie Eilish needs to innovate, I do think her sound could only go so far. I’m not worried about her though.

im not sure where The Weeknd, Roddy Ricch, or Megan Thee Stallion will be. I do think Megan and Roddy have the potential of being the Nicki and Drake of the 2020s. The Weeknd perfected the new wave/alternative r&b on after hours, please innovate.

We are going to see some shocking celebrity deaths.

I saw someone on Youtube say “Future Nostalgia day time and What’s Your Pleasure? night time”, that summed it up well.
