This post is probably going to get me roasted but I don’t care: Juice Wrld’s Legends Never Die is one of the best albums of the year and deserves to get some major Grammy nominations, including AOTY and ROTY for Come And Go, which is one of the best songs of the year (“Mello did it right” is correct, he killed it. Where has this Marshmello been for the last two years?). And I actually think it might be possible, since Legends Never Die just dominated both the Hot 100 and the Top 200, and posted the biggest sales debut since Scorpion (even bigger than After Hours and sales juggernaut Post Malone’s Hollywood’s Bleeding). That’s a massive debut that can’t be ignored. Plus, it has strong reviews from critics (74 on Metacritic) and universal acclaim from fans, including an 8.8 Metacritic user score and a perfect 5 stars from Google user reviews. I’m going to start predicting it in AOTY at least.

Nah, I’m behind “With Arms Wide Open” 100%. Song is beautiful.

Are you smoking pot? That song is disgustingly portentous. “Californication” is an absolute classic that totally deserved the award.

It’s Raining Men by The Weather Girls was offered to Donna Summer, Diana Ross, Cher, and Barbra Streisand before it ended up with The Weather Girls

Nobody’s Supposed To Be Here by Deborah Cox was offered to Patti LaBelle

The remake of I Will Always Love You done by Whitney Houston was offered to Patti LaBelle

Doesn’t change my opinion though. “With Arms Wide Open” is beautiful to me.

What’s not-so-beautiful to me is Beyoncé’s cultural appropriation of late. When it’s done very well, it can easily be overlooked. But then Beyoncé’s approach to it is just cringeworthy and pointless to me. It also comes across as shameless pandering at this point. Also, isn’t all a bit too repetitive? She just released an album (two if you add the film’s actual soundtrack) with similar themes and she’s doing again? The year after? She’s really lacking creatively IMO.

She’s clearly Grammy hungry with this new project, even though she literally just won Music Film.

You’re obviously confusing”Beautiful” with “overwrought”. It’s a dreary mess that intends to be uplifting, but is actually depressing. This win really depresses me because the Grammys should be less lazy.

Honey, Beyoncé needs to bring back LaTavia and LeToya.  Us old-school girls want to see a DC reunion with the original members.  I actually think when Destiny’s Child reunite, it will be 5 girls (Beyoncé, Kelly, LaTavia, LeToya, and Michelle).

Beyoncé should NOT have released that shitastic album with her husband, that live album, and that Lion King crap.  She should’ve released another solo album.

I haven’t heard all of the songs from Folklore, but I really do not like Exile

Lover is one of the most underrated Taylor Swift singles ever. The “we can keep the Christmas Lights until January” is one of my favorite lines ever. I live in a neighborhood that still has their Christmas lights in July. I love it so much, because it just feels like something a couple would do when they’ve been with each other for years.

Don’t forget…”and you’ll save all your dirtiest jokes for me. And on every table, I’ll save you a seat, Lover”. It’s such a beautiful song

    What about Farrah ? …

Honey, you tried that.  Lol.  Now, you know damn well Farrah was only in Destiny’s Child for 5 minutes and did NOT contribute anything to the group.

Do you want Farrah to be apart of the reunion?  I will admit, Farrah is cute to look at.  #DC5

Exile is the worst song on folklore.

It’s one of my favorites, but not the best. “the last great american dynasty” is my favorite, followed by “august” and “illicit affairs”.
