Taylor Swift over Katy Perry, but “Swish Swish” over “Bad Blood”.

Even though she doesn’t have 20+ awards, Whitney Houston will always be the Queen of the GRAMMYS for me. Just watch her performances and you’ll understand why. The industry LOVED her.

Pure Heroine is better than Melodrama, but Melodrama is a more solid album

I just now looked at her list and was stunned to see that she was only given seven all together. I thought that she had as many as fifteen. (shrugs)

God bless you and her family always!!!

Britney Spears & Christina Aguliera have been under nominated/under awarded at the grammys.

    Wins:

Dance Recording – Toxic & Till The World Ends

    Dance/Electronica Album – Blackout & Femme Fatale

    – 5 wins, won’t even get started on nominations…

Xtina – BNA, Female Pop Vocal Performance – Genie in a Bottle, Beautiful, Ain’t No Other Man

Female Rock Vocal Performance – Fighter

    Pop Vocal Album – Dirrty

Pop Collab/Pop Group Duo – Lady Marmalade, Moves Like Jagger, Say Something

    – 8 wins, like Britney, won’t get started on nominations…

Melodrama is a good album but is very overrated. I put it on the same level as Future Nostalgia, Ungodly Hour, and Plastic Hearts (~7.7/10).

Liability (Reprise) is easily the best track.

In such a weak year, don’t be surprised to see “Wuhan Flu” from Borat Subsequent Moviefilm racking up a Grammy nod for Best Song Written for Visual Media.
