I’m just gonna leave this here:
The thank u, next “snub” was worse than the Daydream “snub.”
Album of the Year, lost to Jagged Little Pill. Duh!
Record of the Year (“One Sweet Day”), lost to “Kiss from a Rose.” NO argument.
Best Female Pop Vocal Performance (“Fantasy”), lost to “No More ‘I Love You’s.” Heck yes!
Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals (“One Sweet Day”), lost to “Have I Told You Lately that I Love You?” Abso-fucking-lutely! The song was great with just Van Morrison, The Chieftains only amplified the fuck out of it. Van Morrison’s name alone is enough to take the gold.
Best Pop Album, lost to Turbulent Indigo. No argument here, baby. Joni snatched that one.
Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, lost to “I Apologize.” Heck yes!
thank u, next
Album of the Year, lost to WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? Understandable.
Record of the Year (“7 rings”, lost to “bad guy.” Hands down.
Best Pop Vocal Album, lost to WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? Personally, I’d rather she won this. Kind of like what happened with Taylor and Dua this year.
Best Pop Solo Performance (“7 rings”), lost to “Truth Hurts.” Hands down, bitch.
Best Pop Duo/Group Performance (“Boyfriend”), lost to “Old Town Road” (Remix). Gurl, this shit shouldn’t even have been nominated.
Point; Mariah tech didn’t deserve shit for Daydream. A case can at least be made for thank u, next in Pop Vocal Album.May 7, 2021 at 11:10 am #1204246058
^^^ It says “music” forum at the top of this page, not Grammy awards forum and the name of this chat says “Unpopular Opinions” which doesn’t mean just musical unpopular opinions. (smiles) God bless you always!!! Holly
the chat forum I was talking about was the Grammys section of the forum. You post are irrelevant and bring unnecessary drama. Additionally, unpopular opinion forum chat on a music forum is suppose to be about unpopular opinions about music, not about you love. There’s a general main forum for shit like that (smiles)

Actually my messages start out just has relevant and on topic as the ones from everyone else. What makes any chat jump the track is when any message is responded to the way that y’all choose to respond to mine. How is it my fault that other people don’t know how to ignore whatever it is that makes their smile disappear? Take what I had to say about myself in this chat for example. If what I wrote had been ignored completely, would it continue to be in the spotlight still? No. In other words, thank you again for every moment that you people think that I am worth because how you people choose to deal with me is what keeps any person’s “victory lap” alive and kicking. (smiles) God bless you always!!! Holly
girl, it’s embarrassing that you think give racists any value (smiles). And yeah girl I’ve been smiling and streaming the random women that got your panties in a twist 🥴🥴🥴 stay streaming Morgan Wallen

“Take Me to the King”, “Need You Now”, “Never Would Have Made It”, or “Imagine Me” deserved Song of the Year nominations.May 10, 2021 at 10:38 am #1204249309
The 2000’s are the best decade in music.May 10, 2021 at 7:44 pm #1204250199
The 2000’s are the best decade in music.
The last* best decade in music. 70s, 80s, 90s up till 00s.
The talents that existed during those times were insane. Unmatched. Charisma unlike ever before. Real living, breathing megastars.
Music transcended. Everything.
Movies, soundtracks, events. Everything.May 10, 2021 at 8:37 pm #1204250287
Get real! The 2000’s are NOT the best decade in music. More like the 1990’s. #MemoriesMay 11, 2021 at 2:56 am #1204250461

I think I meant this.
But the 2000’s have a special place in my heart. The 80’s though… not sure about that one.May 11, 2021 at 8:50 am #1204250701

Yeah. I’m sure not everyone is a fan of the rock bands, over the top fashion, etc.
But if you’re talking about the AIDS scare, wave of conservatism, etc. that’s a whole other story.May 11, 2021 at 2:14 pm #1204251265
I’m just gonna say what everyone knows: The Grammys cannot be trusted and that’s awful.
The “mistakes” of the Oscars, Emmys and I don’t watch Broadway but I bet the Tonys are at least countable. The Grammys manage to fuck shit up almost every year and it’s because they’re so hooked on what the public says; hence, nominations for the likes of BTS arise.
I just examined at the list of past AOTY winners and was utterly disappointed. They’ve soiled their name by themselves. So many posthumous/legend wins. I mean, if you want to honor a legend, you have a fucking Legend award.
Then there’s complete bullshit like 7 and 24K Magic being nominated and winning Album of the fucking Year???
Forced sweeps are also shit. Some sweeps, like, in my opinion, Christopher Cross’s, are cool. But no, people like Bruno Mars didn’t even deserve GF nominations not to mention sweeping all three.
They only seem to get it right a bit with the record, performance and song categories even though they still pull their posthumous/legend crap as was clearly the case with “Higher”(DJ Khaled).May 15, 2021 at 8:55 pm #1204256907

Lil Nas X didn’t deserve any Grammys in 2020.
He should’ve lost, in my opinion, Pop Duo/Group Performance to Jonas Brothers and definitely Music Video to “Cellophane.”
