I kinda wanted to drop this part here about Diddy’s speech. It’s time that Hip Hop and R&B get their due in the genre categories.
Anyways I am extremely proud of Billie Eilish and her wins today! Feel said for Lizzo, Lana, Ariana, and Lil Nas X. They should have won a general field award.
We did this last year. What did we learn abo the Grammys 2020? Please bring the info.

Airing Comedy Album was a complete joke

It’s weird to me when multiple winners complain about the Grammys.
And Diddy didn’t treat any of his artists right.
All he’s going to do is show his face right at that brunch again next year.

ReplyCopy URLJanuary 26, 2020 at 10:10 pm #1203313622They need to stop with all of these boring and unnecessary performances and televise more awards. And something we all have been knowing is that it still continues to be about popularity for the most part in the GF field.
ReplyCopy URLJanuary 26, 2020 at 10:12 pm #1203313628The categories they air definitely help determine winners and they definitely know the winners beforehand. Why else would they switch BPVA and BPSP? They realized Billie would be up there 5 times and Lizzo none so they switched at the last moment

this! We did not need that Nipsey Hussle tribute, we didn’t need Camila on stage twice, for fucks sake only general field nominees should perform.

Hope Billie Eilish continues from here but i don’t know we’ve got a new Adele or new Christopher Cross.
Anderson .Paak is the secret Grammy darling, my boy upsetting y’all every year.
Nipsey, Tyler, Khaled, Roddy Ricch, 21 Savage and J. Cole are first time winners. This is what happens when a big name like Kendrick remains silent.
Enough with performances, this is an award show, not a fucking concert.

And that Mrs. Dugan is 100% correct.

January 26, 2020 at 11:10 pm #1203313757If you’re black, kiss your GF winning chances goodbye: it’s not happening unless you’re very lucky.
If you’re a “lock” for one GF category and is nominated for the others, you’re gonna sweep even if you obviously shouldn’t, because voters vote for the exact same person across the board, even though they should vote for the nominated work they judge as the best. Bruno Mars winning ROTY and Billie winning ROTY and SOTY prove that.
