What is Miss Janet’s Best Album?

I haven’t listened to her entire discography yet especially her most recent work. I just want to say this iconic legendary woman has probably the most solid and versatile catalog in music.

1. Rhythm Nation 1814
2. The Velvet Rope
3. Control

I need to listen to her first two albums and her stuff after All For You.
Many say that The Velvet Rope is her Magnum opus.

Damita Jo is underrated. It’s not her best but definitely listenable from start to finish. A Top 5 career album for sure. On any given day Control, Rhythm Nation, or Janet. are interchangeable for #1.

I’m a huge fan of those four albums. All of her other albums are mixed bags for me. She is severely underrated and highly influential to generations of artists.

I would say that her strongest album front to back is Rhythm Nation 1814, I mean just look at the track listing. You’ll understand why there were 7 top ten singles from this album (which set a record) and why the album is considered a classic.
