I listen to “Rumours” on a regular basis so I voted for Fleetwood Mac here.
What an amazing decade for Stevie Wonder. Three deserved album of the year awards.

I love “Oh Daddy” – one of my favorite Christine McVie tracks. “Silver Springs” was recorded for “Rumours” but didn’t make it on the album due to the space limitation of vinyl back in the day. Ended up as a b-side on a single. I wonder how “Rumours” would have sounded if “Silver Springs” had replaced “Oh Daddy”. It does seems like “Oh Daddy” is the least favorite song for lots of folk.

I went with Rumours for the poll bc Fleetwood Mac ranks higher than Carole King as far as artists go for me. All the Stevie Wonder albums are incredible!!! I also love Paul Simon’s win (although he beat Linda Ronstadt’s masterpiece Heart Like a Wheel.) Simon & Garfunkel also a had a great win. I never feel like various artist albums are fair no matter how great they are, so The Concert For Bangladesh & Saturday Night Fever would rank low. Not a Billy Joel fan.
