Jagged Little Pill marked my early adolescence so I needed to pick that.

Miseducation, followed by Time Out of Mind(although OK Computer definitely should’ve won that year).

Time out of my mind of bob dylan is the best one (by miles).

Although this list is very strong, miseducation by lauryn hill and falling into you by celine dion are the weakest imo.

Imagine thinking Lauryn Hill gave one of the weakest winners..

    SOS for AOTY

    Succession for Outstanding Drama Series

Steven Yeun and Ali Wong for Lead Actor and Lead Actress

Hell yes, The Smashing Pumpkins definitely should have won in 1997. And while The Bodyguard’s soundtrack is incredible, I have to sadly disagree with you and say Automatic For The People by R.E.M. should have won Album Of The Year that year, because that is my all-time favorite album of the 1990s.

Ah the Grammys in the 90’s. The last decade I truly paid attention to the the general field. I voted for Lauryn Hill. I love Santana’s album but felt all the guest vocalists was kind of a cheat, Quincy Jones is the same thing. Also the two legends winning for live albums was also kind of a cheat too. Bob Dylan is a solid 2nd & Alanis Morrisette vies with Santana for 3rd. The rest I really don’t care much about. Cole has a lovely tribute to her father, but album of the year is a bit much. I love what Houston did with Dolly Parton’s masterpiece of songwriting but again album of the year??? No. Diva’s has always been a thing for me, but Dion is without a doubt the most annoying female vocalist to ever get that title. She is way, way dead last. Of the nominees some great work by Bonnie Raitt, Paul Simon, REM, Annie Lennox, kd lang, Sting, Beck, The Smashing Pumpkins, Sheryl Crow & Madonna were up there. Only Morrisette & Dylan were my fav choices from the nominees to win.
