    Weak decade for sure. I Kinda like that “Hello, Dolly!” won but the other show tune nominated that year, “People”, was better written. “Michelle” is a good song, sad it’s the one the academy recognized when they had so many other better Lennon-McCartney songs to pick from. I threw my vote to Jerry Herman, which I feel conflicted about. As conflicted as I could be on something trivial. 🙂
