It’s hard to look over Kanye’s own work but…
The Diary of Alicia Keys was technically produced by him AND it has the best Alicia Keys song of all time on it, so my vote goes to her.
Interesting thread, refreshing break from Grammy drama.

Reality: Arcade Fire, “Funeral”.
ReplyCopy URLJanuary 20, 2017 at 7:12 am #1201991272Lol most of these albums were released in 2003. The only ones that were released in 2004 was Kanye West’s “The College Dropout” and Usher’s “Confessions.”

I vote Usher. That album was a big part of my teenage years.
ReplyCopy URLJanuary 20, 2017 at 10:44 am #1201991379I know most of these albums are from 2003. I put them on the list because those albums were widely successful in the mainstream in 2004. Awards season, those were the acts that were always nominated and charted on the Billboard charts that year. That’s why you don’t see Arcade Fire or Green Day on the list.
ReplyCopy URLJanuary 20, 2017 at 1:05 pm #1201991453I second on American Idiot. Electrifying album that continues to be relevant to this date. It even has a Tony winning musical that is on West End right now!
