1991 is often considered one of the greatest years in the history of music, with many great albums by great artists being released in that year. I have many albums from that year alone on my iPod, and they all celebrate their 30th anniversary this year:

    U2—Achtung Baby
Red Hot Chili Peppers—Blood Sugar Sex Magik
    Mariah Carey—Emotions
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers—Into The Great Wide Open
Ziggy Marley & The Melody Makers—Jahmekya
    Lenny Kravitz—Mama Said
    Nirvana—Nevermind
    R.E.M.—Out Of Time
    Sarah McLachlan—Solace
    Pearl Jam—Ten
    Pixies—Trompe Le Monde
    Genesis—We Can’t Dance

What albums from 1991 do you guys own?

I never did get the album that its from, but my most favorite song from country singer Pam Tillis went to radio that year named “Put Yourself In My Place”. I’ll never understand why it never got any further than the #11 spot, to me, it is crank it up awesome!!! (big smile)

God bless you and Pam always!!!

    Holly

P.S. Her next song however is the one that radio never knew when to quit playing named “Maybe It Was Memphis”. It went all the way to #3. (shaking my head)

How could I forget to add Karyn White’s Ritual of Love. I do not know how Karen White was ignored in the R&B categories for Romantic or the album.

    Others I forgot to add:

    Lisa Stansfield-Real Love
    Crystal Waters – Surprise
    Tevin Campbell, T.E.V.I.N.
