Excluding heavy favorites who seem to win every other year(Beyonce, Kendrick, Drake Adele) what are some less popular Grammy winners who you see winning another statue? It could be non-winners too.
Pink – Is a 3 time Grammy winner, I could easily see her taking a Pop Solo Grammy if she were to have another huge hit. A Pop Duo/Group Grammy if she and XTINA release that collaboration they worked on a couple years ago.
Christina Aguilera – I Don’t ever see XTINA taking a Pop Solo Grammy ever, it’s just too competitive and only hits win now days. I could XTINA winning in a less competitive category like “traditional r&b performance” or like Pink Pop Duo/Group.
Martina McBride – I am shocked that one of the greatest voices in country music hasn’t won a single Grammy. I could see her winning in Country Duo/Group, or if she collaborated with Allyson Krauss.
Justin Bieber – I know his music is trash but the boy does have two Grammys. I could see a possibility where he takes a Dance Recording Grammy he collaborates with a lot of DJs.
Kelly Clarkson – She doesn’t have many wins under her belt but she is very lovable and the academy seems to love her since she always pops out with a nod every now and then. I can See a POP solo nod in Clarkson’s future, if she were in a similar situation like Gaga two years ago, where voters just name check. With the right music and success I could even see Clarkson prevailing in the General field.
Rihanna – She has nine Grammys, a lot of them for collars, last solo win was in 2014. I can see her winning a couple more but first she needs to release music and not go agains Beyonce. IMO she should have won with Anti.

i was thinking this too. If Beyonce doesn’t release this year. It’s a shame that we have to write off a lot of artists in the urban field if Bey were in contention. Could you imagine had she release and actual album instead of Spirit last year? Lizzo would have been an 8 time loser.

To me, Martina should’ve won when she and Clint Black (another solo act still waiting on their first Grammy) were in there together for the Best Country Collaboration Grammy. Their duet named “Still Holding On” is awesome!
May Alison Krauss still have more Grammy awards to accumulate in her future as well as LeAnn Rimes and Tanya Tucker!

It feels like Pink never happened at the Grammys, 2/3 of her wins are for collabs where she (let’s face it) isn’t important in them and the other is in a category that’s been discontinued for 17 years.

Lol Pink Lil Kim and Mya only won For Lady Marmalade because of Christina Aguilera. I’d like to see anyone argue that. If Christina wasn’t attached to that project LM would have never happened. Dead! At Pink thinking she could hit Legendtina’s note.

A Tribe Called Quest ( who can forget Q-Tip’s infamous meltdown on Grammy committee, they should’ve got at least one rap Grammy)
The Roots ( they should’ve won Best Rap Album for Undun instead of Drake )
Nas ( rap legend, GOAT status but never won a Grammy, it’s a shame)
Gorillaz ( They should’ve won a Grammy for Clint Eastwood but they lost OutKast)
Radiohead ( Kid A snub is always a crime)
David Bowie ( Blackstar album should’ve won AOTY but not even a nomination)
Fiona Apple ( The Idler Wheel album shouldn’t lost to a one-hit wonder, hopefully 2021 Grammy’s looks bright to miss Apple)
Tupac Shakur ( What a shame legendary person and artist like Tupac never won a Grammy)
Aaliyah ( Try Again should’ve won a Grammy, miss Aaliyah always be missed)
Notorious B.I.G. ( Same with Pac, he should’ve won rap Grammy’s in 1998 instead of Diddy)
Tori Amos ( Tori Amos is always overlooked by the committee, 8 nominations but zero wins. She should’ve won some rock/alternative awards)
Snoop Dogg ( Same with Nas, he’s like most nominated rapper without wins. Drop it Like it’s Hot, Gin and Juice, Nothing but a G Thang should’ve won some rap Grammy’s)

The real crime is that Patti LaBelle did not win a Grammy for the original version of Lady Marmalade. I was glad that Patti performed at the Grammys and showed Pink, Christina Aguilera, Mya and Lil’ Kim how it is done on Lady Marmalade.
